I do not have kids, but I do have dogs and to keep things in their lives interesting I freeze a lot of their snacks. I use food molds typically intended for chocolate making, but I've found baby food freezer trays are better because they come with lids, which makes short term storage much easier.This btrfe storage container has six wells that hold a little over 1/4 cup each (2 ounces). The description states 3 ounces, but I could only fit about 2.3 ounces. Not a deal breaker for me, but just an FYI.I only fill each well up with about one tablespoon of plain yogurt or kefir, a small spoon of plain applesauce or pumpkin and then drop in a few blueberries or green beans or a carrot. The whole thing goes in the freezer and then I pop them out and store them in a bag and each little puck goes on top of a meal for our dog. I did notice the kefir does not pop out of the wells as easily when they are not filled very full. This is not a big deal, but again, FYI.This storage container is dishwasher safe, which I really like as I have put sardines in the kefir and the smell does come out. I also like the lid. The lid is not spill proof, so if you are freezing broth, keep in mind the lid will not save you from spills, it only helps with stacking and keeping odors from totally permeating the rest of your freezer.The cost of this container is $9.99 which is average. Other containers of the same size are priced at about the same.I think for a parent who is making baby food, this would be really handy to have pre-portioned frozen pucks of favorite vegetables and fruits ready to go. I know as a dog owner, I love it.

I have been using these to store home made dog food frozen into small portions that I can warm and add to the top of my dogs dry food to encourage her to eat everything in her dish. After making a batch, I can fill and freeze for an hour before taking them out to put into a freezer bag and refilling for another batch, thus making a months supply in an afternoon.They are flexible, sturdy and are easy to remove frozen food from. My dog approves!

These are the perfect size to freeze homemade baby food purees. I make a decent size batch of the baby food and then freeze them. The baby food pops out easily, and I can store the frozen food in a freezer bag so I can make a different batch. I have been able to feed my baby a wider variety of food this way. They are easy to clean also.

The main thing I like abut this freezer tray is that there is a lip on the lid to separate each section. So if you put different foods in each section, you don't have to worry abut them running into the other sections. I'm not using it for baby food, I'm using it to freeze some of my sourdough starter as a back up in case something happens to my main starter. It's a learning curve getting the lid on, but it's pretty easy once you do it a few times. Once the contents are frozen, I found it easiest to turn it upside down on the lid and push down on the section to get it out. This would be good to use for ice cream, too!

I am pleased with this btrfe Baby Food Freezer Tray with Lid. The cavities are smaller than I was expectingn yet, this mould does make nice snacks. It also works well for breakfast prep. The size of freezer tray is big enough to store baby food or any other stuff you want to freeze. The usage can be versatile. The lid fits right but it's not air tight.Overall great for storing things in freezer

So I really like this... I wanted to like this...however..... the lid is throwing me. It like doesn't seal well especially for the freezer and it seems I'm not the only one. I didn't get it for baby food I got it to freeze orange juice but still I'm afraid its going to burn in the freezer because the lid doesn't appear to be secure. I absolutely love the bottom and the portion sizes so I'm kind of thrown here but I'm going to stick with it and try to figure out what to do. I'll update if I figure it out or come up with a solution.
