I've wanted to try a retinol skin care serum treatment for a long time, and after I saw that Eight Saints came out with a retinol product I knew I had to try it. Just like my other favorites from their line (Daydreamer Face Moisturizer, Seeking C Vitamin C Face Serum, Pep Rally Face Serum, Chase the Sun SPF 30 Face Moisturizer, and more), this serum did not disappoint. The green tea scent is soothing, it layers well under my moisturizer, and my skin has brightened after a week's use. I was complimented on my skin the other day which doesn't usually happen! The only comment is that I usually need to use slightly more than the recommended pea-sized amount in order to feel like I've applied enough. Would definitely recommend this product as an inclusion into your skincare routine.

I have wanted to try products from Eight Saints for a while due to their clean, natural ingredients. When I noticed their products were being sold on an Amazon, I decided to try the Smooth Sailing Retinol Facial Serum. This choice was made due to the fact the serum also contains hyaluronic acid and green tea. The serum is absolutely amazing! I have tried retinol products in the past, and they lead to dry skin and redness. This serum is gentle as well as effective, and I have not experienced dry skin or redness. I have mature skin, and my cell turnover rate has decreased which has led to dull skin. I am very happy that this product is gentle, however, it has increased my cell turnover and my skin is no longer dull. I plan to purchase the retinol face moisturizer cream in order to see additional benefits, and I look forward to the results!!!

I really think it made a difference with my find lines. I used it daily for4 days, then had a few pimples as my pores were cleared so switched to putting a little moisturizer layer, then the serum, then more moisturizer and it has made my pores look smaller and overall my face smoother. I love Eight Saints and Al their products smell great and feel luxurious. I’m 50 and it’s nice to know retinol is actually effective for regenerating skin cells. Highly recommend. I use ES Up the Anti Moisturizer to combat any dryness but I do not have dry skin overall.

So I love Eight Saints and most of their products and this serum is no different!! Ive been using it a little over a week now and I can already see a slight improvement. I’d say my only complaint is how it’s packaged it comes in this breakable dropper bottle which is cute and all but I feel like when you get down to the end there will be a lot of wasted product :(

I have been very happy with other products from this brand so I decided to try out this serum too and I am really loving it. Not greasy, no weird smell and makes my skin feel smooth and ready for makeup!

This is a very good retinol serum. I've used many before this one, including more expensive brands, but this one works just as good, if not better. I sometimes have rosacea, and I did not get any irritation or redness from the product. I put it on at night and woke up with clear and smooth skin. This is a true serum in the sense that it is not thick and you will need to add a cream over it, as is usually the case for retinol anyway.

While I really like this product & everything else by this brand, I give 3 stars because it just doesn’t last long enough. Yes a little goes a long way but I’ve had this for a month & o my used it half the time because I was traveling & didn’t take it with me & I’m already out again. Plus I only use it at night. It’s like that bag of chips you spend $5 on & the bag is only 1/3 of the way full. It’s disappointing that the bottle isn’t full.

My skin feels much smoother and more even after consistent use. I have been using it daily without any irritation. My skin feels firmer and my redness seems less noticeable. Serum feels just thick enough to cover skin but lightweight for summer. I really love the glass bottle and dropper works great, provides and perfect amount each time I use. Overall it’s a great high quality product for a reasonable price.
