A truly fantastic TV
I've had this TV for 6months and been meaning to write a review because it is really good. I've previously had Sony TVs for their screen quality, but LG OLED displays stand out in a shop like Currys in a side by side comparison, and are quite a bit cheaper, which I like. So just running through some bits from delivery onward. Firstly the screen is amazing thin - thinner than my iPhone (yes really). There the pictorial instructions on how to get it out of the box are elaborate and not the greatest. You'll need two people at the final stage. It took me a while, but you don't want to break the thing out of the box. Once upright, setting up is pretty standard and easy - good on screen instructions, no problems with wifi or lan connecting either. I've got a PVR, FireStick and an HDMi hub with FreeSat and a DVD player, which I initially connected, before realising there are enough direct HDMi's not to need the hub. All work and the controller can turn them on and operate most of them (certainly the FireStick and Humux Freeview PVR). Using the LG remote isn't quite a good (not surprisingly), but saves getting up. The TV remote has built in Netflix and Prime button, these service work well - pretty much as well as they do on the Firestick, although skip 10 secs forward/back is missing. So what's good:1) The picture quality, absolutely stunning. TIP: turn off the auto-brightness, I found it was making the picture too dark in the day and too bright at night.2) The gallery - to demo the screen quality - there are a set of images of classic paintings, complete with frames and these are amazing. The picture frame appears to go to the edge of the screen, the bezel is that small.3) The remote - pretty well organised4) The speech recognition - works really well which is pretty unusual5) Alexa integration. What's average:1) The sound - I've not gone for anything extra, like the sound bar, but the sound is just fine. I've set the audio to clear speech, which helps drag some of the more mumbled dialog out of films for me.What's bad:1) Nothing really! - maybe screen sharing from you iphone, which isn't well supported unless you pay of an app. I suspect android is better. Other point, down in the weeds, is the fact you can only tune to Terrestial or Satellite, not both at the same time. However considering I bought it not realising that it could take a satellite signal at all, I feel bad about mention this! Conclusion:This TV isn't priced at the top of the range, but I can say I have absolutely no regrets and would just say "go buy one!".

Excellent Picture Quality. Outstanding!!!
Prior to buying this I had a Panasonic Plasma tv which was and still is a great tv.This is an excellent replacement. It blows my old plasma out of the water. It’s truly stunning with all content but really shines with 4k HDR or Dolby Vision content. I’m not worried about screen burn as I previously had a plasma and I don’t leave Sky TV paused for long periods etc. The TV has its own built in countermeasures for built in apps like YouTube, Netflix and Amazon Prime etc.The sound is adequate from the built in speakers but I use an AV system for sound so it’s not a concern for me.The tv is thinner than my iPhone apart from at the bottom where the connections are.The only thing I wish is that with the split screen picture and picture function I wish you could stream two different apps or an app and an HDMI source at the same time. A minor gripe.I looked at all the other offerings like QLed and OLED is superior. OLED has perfect black levels and that makes colours pop like no other technology.I would recommend this tv to anyone. Buy one, you won’t regret it.

Amazing picture, looks amazing, just breathtaking!!
Great TV, the picture is breathtaking,It’s thinner than a mobile phone at the top, it has a really thin bevel, you can get great HD content on Netflix as there are some 4K movies and some with HDR Dolby Vision, Amazon Prime Videos look very good as well, they have some 4K, most are 1080p and some with HDR10, standard Sky looks ok a bit pixelated but the HD channels look amazing, movies from a USB drive even if they are only at 1080p look amazing, almost as good as the 4k ones, sound it’s pretty good but it’s better with a surround system.Games looks amazing even just at 1080p everything fits the screen perfectly without letterbox, no lag. Probably the best TV around at this price point

Excellent picture quality but screen died after two months
Superb picture quality - it really is something else. Unfortunately it suddenly developed green vertical and horizontal lines after only two months. It's wall mounted and has never been bumped into or taken any sort of physical damage.I contacted LG for a repair under warranty - it took them two weeks to finally book an on-site engineer. I took the day off work, only to be contacted two days prior by the sub-contracted engineer company, Babber Electronics and I was notified that no engineer would be coming on the booked date as they still needed to order parts! Is it any wonder that Babber have such poor online reviews on Google and Yell? I took the day off work for nothing.I have now been waiting over a month for a repair so I have simply decided to return the product. LG and Babber have made a great looking product but sadly mine was defective and their customer services have been totally inept. I have since lodged a complaint and will be returning the product to Amazon under their warranty.

Software/ voice command via macic remote problems.
Great picture but requires some time to adjust to my own preference. Sound is more than adequate and clear. Magic remote is great when it works i.e. you can control the tv with voice control from the remote, but it stopped working after a software update (the tv was just over a week old). I contacted customer support by phone and was advised to do a factory re-set, I was reluctant to do this as I had taken a while to set the picture/sound settings as well as registering/logging in to numerous apps. I e-mailed LG via their support page and after several days and e-mails the final outcome was to carry out a factory re-set. This resolved the problem, but wasted a lot of my time. I wonder if Samsung owners have this problem as I didn`t expect it from a high end oled LG tv.

Talking TV
Great picture and also that we can use voice commands with the remote. Easy to set up which greatly helps!Only negative the sound is low so will be buying a sound bar, however aware of this when we bought Tv but still doesn't distract from the quality of the product.
