I thoroughly recommend this electrically heated duvet. Have used it every night since buying about a month or two ago. Had many reservations about whether it would be warm enough; well it's warm as toast and like laying all night in a lovely warm bath!(without the wet bit) It also heats up the bottom sheet very well just on the 5 minute pre-heat. I have an adjustable bed with a memory foam mattress and previous heated UNDER blankets ruined the mattress and were then ruined themselves by the adjustable bed. This is not the case with this heated duvet so recommend to anyone in similar position. Excellent instructions and safety notes. Measures 48" by 60" (122cm x 152cm) with square ends. This is the single size. If your duvet cover is on the narrow side you will be advised to buy a slightly larger one as this electric duvet must not be "bunched up". Definitely recommend. Well worth the money.

Be aware, due to its electromagnetic field, causes pain to a man's testicles and kidneys. The most unreliable and dengerous thing I have ever bought.. I have thrown it away and I didn't even bothered to return it!!!

Having just moved into accommodation with no central heating, i was looking for something to keep me warm both in bed and on the sofa while watching TV in the cold winter evenings, without having too much weight to it. Also I wanted a duvet that kept me warm in all seasons, without having to mess about changing and storing summer and winter togs. I thought I'd found the perfect solution in the Sleepwell Luxury 100% Cotton Single Heated Duvet with Intelliheat Technology - but I hadn't.If you sleep without fidgeting and don't have pets, then give it a try, but really fidget, like to snuggle into my duvet with some under me and my cat often joins me - this heated duvet doesn't sallow for any of that! Basically once on the bed the duvet has to remain flat with the electric cord hanging off the foot of the bed. The instructions say you can't fold it back, tuck it under you, or allow pets to sleep on it. I was very disappointed as it looked to promise so much.Luckily, even though I had opened the packaging to find this information on the instructions inside, Amazon were happy to provide a full refund.

Not as thoroughly warming as an underblanket but still very pleasant. Warms up very quickly while you get ready for bed - no need to turn on an hour before. And you can keep it on all night. Fleax long and in the way a bit/untidy. Handset well thought out - can even operate it with your big toe to save bending. A wow, novel product.Waiting to see how long it lasts.Update: I bought two of these and liked them BUT my husband's lasted two years and mine (perhaps I was a little more careful with it) the other 3 years. I wouldn't buy again given the price has gone up from about £50 that I aid to £85. It is worth it perhaps at the lower price but not as priced now.

Sleepwell Luxury 100 Percent Cotton Single Heated Duvet with Intelliheat Technology I have been looking for a replacement for my old heated electric duvet, and finally found this one from Dreamwell on Amazon. It was delivered free to my home address several months ago and functioned quite well up to now. The enclosed user leaflet could stand some improvement, especially with respect to maintenance and washing instructions. Would like to know if there are approved duvet clips to fix it inside a duvet cover. Pins or safety pins are obviously a "no-no", and warned against in the leaflet shipped with the duvet.

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! my poor old dog is very poorly and I have to get out of bed at least 3 times in the night to let him out. Brilliant to come back to such a warm and snuggly bed. Really helps to get me back to sleep. I was concerned that I would not cope with it because of the hot flush reaction to being cold then hot but on the whole it has not been a problem. I find it is very responsive to body temperature. I am a Chronic Fatigue Syndrome / Fibromyalgia sufferer and find the heated duvet helps my stiff muscles and aching joints and my VERY cold feet. Finally getting into bed each night is a joy!On a practical note it is easy to use and so far I have only used up to 3 of 6 settings. Also the duvet warms up fast. I put it on while I go and clean my teeth and hey presto warm bed awaits. Brilliant.

I have had this duvet for about a month. So far it has been really lovely. I like it because there is a range of temperatures. It is possible to just take the chill of the sheets so it is not such a shock to get into bed. There has been a range of English early winter temperatures here, from just below freezing with a bitter wind to this could be summer. Each time I have only had to use the warm up function and was able to turn down my room heat. The material is really soft. It moulds around my body well. I can't feel any wires. There are two small draw backs. One is that the flex that connects to the mains it a little bit intrusive and the other is the temperature, time/ control. It works on one hour or the whole night and it is a bit unsubtle in the way it sets but that is really nit picking.

I bought this for my elderly mother who sleeps in a relatively cold bedroom. She wanted something that was easy and safe to use, and could be left on all night. This product did just what was required - it produces a natural, comfortable heat that is not often achieved with traditional under blankets. It is light weight, gives uniform heat and is relatively cheap to run. Within two nights, mother was as happy as a sand boy and considered it the best thing since sliced bread - job done!
