These are very practical and functional. The design literally guides your child’s hands as to the expectation of holding a pencil, pen, marker. And for my 5 year old who struggles with focus, with everyday use, it taught her how to properly hold the pencil to write. My two year old uses it too. Must buy!

These made a vast difference with my special ed students. I have one with dysgraphia, and for the first time, he has some control on his hand enough to make his words legible. That’s just a start. I’m sure it will improve over time. Before this, his letters looked like random markings on the page. We have tried so many other types of pencil grips and they only caused discomfort lending to abandoning use by the student. He likes the feel of this one. Other students like the feel of it as well.

These are excellent for helping kids get a proper grip on their pencils. Some of the younger students I tutor could barely hold a pencil well enough to write, and these did the trick beautifully! Even some of my older students started using them to correct their pencil hold.

I bought these 8-piece ergonomic pencil grips for my 5-year-old daughter to help with her handwriting. She is quite tall for her age (size of a 7-8 year old), and that seems to be where the issue lies. At first, my daughter hated the grips and resisted using them. She slowly got used to them over time, which is a positive. The grips do what they’re supposed to — they encourage a better pencil hold and are soft and colorful. However, they feel quite small overall. The part that rests against the palm could definitely be longer and thicker for better comfort and support. They might be perfect for an average-sized 5-year-old, but for taller or bigger-handed kids, they fall a bit short. Overall, decent product for the price and the pack of 8 is nice, but I wish they offered a slightly larger size option.

They do break easy. I work with special needs children. One child took another’s and she pulled on it then it broke. Other than that they work pretty good.

For the price, it is worth it. My kids loved it, they were able to adjust their grip and they were very comfortable (I tried them too). They feel a bit cheap but they don’t break wasily
