I was slightly concerned having read some negative reviews however, if you follow the instructions properly this product is excellent at filling oversized holes in the wall where a rawlplug has pulled out taken some plaster with it. Our metal curtain track fell down leaving large holes in the wall too big to re-plug, i set the kettle to 80c poured into a small souflee dish approx a quarter full, added the contents of one sachet and left for around 50 seconds then moulded into a single lump using the back of a teaspoon. Immediately took the product out of teh water, rolled into shape and forced all the way into the hole but jest less thatn flush with the wall as i didnt want the orange paste to overspill. Immediatley pushed the rawlplug in until flush with the wall, then did the second one. If you put the right quantity in at the beginning the orange putty will finish just about flush. I decided to leave for an hour and had the remainder of one sachet moulded into a ball and after ten minutes it had set rock hard. I screwed the curtian brackets back on and the two fixing points i had used the putty on were really solid and i dont think this will fail as it is a solid plastic once hardened and fills the void that it is forced into. YOu have to have everything set up due to teh setting time but provided you do then i cannot see how this product will not work. Its expensive but does the job with plenty left over. tip: keep the hot water next to you and as soon as you have taken enough for one hole put the remainder straght back into the water to keep it pliable. Set up in advance and work quickly, if already hardening it is not hot enough.

Loved that this easily fixed a hole made by the curtain pole fixings being pulled out (don’t yank the curtains please kids! ) so pole could be screwed back onto the wall in the same place. Only thing I didn’t like is that product is bright orange so stands out and needs painting over, which it wouldn’t have if it was a neutral colour like white or cream, or even black. Only a tiny fraction was visible after putting the bracket back up over the top of the repair, but it is eye catching, being bright orange. However, the product is super easy to use and very effective, it seems super sturdy and was a cheap and easy fix. Would buy again if needed but there was more than one sachet in the box so won’t need to buy again for a while.

Works pretty well, turns to hard plastic in about 60 seconds so you have to work really fast, but did the job. Happy with that.

I was a bit sceptical when I felt the material, but it has held up very well. The cupboard door front on my dishwasher kept falling off and had too many screw holes, but since I filled them with this stuff and screwed the door back on, it has stayed put. And it is quite a heavy door front too. Good value for money, especially considering the cost of a new cupboard door. It was quick and easy to use, no DIY skills needed. Easy to fit into what ever shape holes. Works a charm.

Just received this to fix curtain pole bracket where raw plug has come loose even though I had used plaster board raw plugs. East to use dropped plastic balls into a glass of boiling water and left for 2 minutes then drained off water ( remember to wear rubber washing up gloves ). Rolled up in a ball pushed into hole where I had removed the raw plug and vacuumed the dust away and replaced raw plug. Left for 2 hours what's the rush and replaced bracket and pole with curtains. Solid job done. Don't understand the bad reviews you must be doing something wrong.

Works okay, but not over impressed

I was sceptical about this, but I have used this sort of thermoplastic before for other situations. You have to consider that it is only really malleable for a few minutes before it starts to set, certainly not the 10 minutes stated on the packaging. I was using it to fill a very slightly wide screw hole for a hinge on my kitchen cabinet where the screw wouldn’t tighten up. On first attempt I used too much of this so I had to remove about 50%, however after that it tightened up correctly and it’s now been about 10 days since the repair. Like others have mentioned I wish it wasn’t orange but in my case it is hidden by the hinge and the screw.

It works as described. Be aware it will dry quick and it won't be able to maneuver once is gets hardened.

Attenzione,il prodotto una volta ammorbidito indurisce molto in fretta e non è più utilizzabile. Io dovevo riempire fori nel legno di una porta in tamburato e non è servito. Cercherò altro.

No sirve para rellenar un agujero de clavo y volver a taladrar. Queda sin consistencia.
