I love this little daypack. It packs into such a tiny space that I can easily fit it into a corner of my carry-on luggage. But it opens up into a pack with plenty of room to carry an extra jacket, my camera, two water bottles, lunch and snacks, and more. I've used it on several hikes, and it seems to be holding up just fine. And it's reasonably priced, too.

Light weight and perfect

I've spent a lot of money on name-brand packs and daypacks—way too much—so I wanted to see what less than $20 could get me. Overall, I'm pleased with this bag.The main takeaway here is that you don't need to spend $40+ on a daypack. You can, of course, but there's nothing I've seen on a more expensive daypack that's dramatically superior to this one. Some of my more expensive packs have slightly padded shoulder straps and a bit more rigidity, which are nice, but ultimately don't make a huge difference. You should be carrying fewer than 15 or even 10 pounds in this pack (you're just walking for a few hours!), in which case discomfort should rarely come into play. If you can admit to yourself that you don't REALLY need all the fancy features from an Osprey daypack (which you don't), then you'll come to the conclusion that a simple bag that stays out of your way and securely zips will suffice. This bag passes that test.My one complaint is that the zippers on this pack are finicky. My guess is that the tightly woven materials used to make this bag waterproof make it difficult to zip at times. By the way, it IS generally waterproof for rain, though I wouldn't take it underwater.I've beaten it up pretty good so far, and the materials have held up. As I mentioned, it doesn't have much rigidity to it, which can make balancing your load and keeping a water bottle secured difficult, but that's how it's going to be for a light pack. Adding rigidity or form adds weight. This bag is essentially the lightest it could possibly be, which is a good thing.Overall, I choose this daypack if I'm solely going for a day hike and nothing else. If I'm traveling on the train or going to be staying overnight somewhere, I'll typically elect a more structured bag with more compartment options. Fancy features on a pack can be great! But not for holding lunch, sunscreen, and a few hours' worth of water.

I bought this for a trip to Disney World to carry around the parks. It's very compact and functional, with good pouches on the outside for bottled water. The straps are a little thin, so they are not that comfortable with a heavy load, but they are also very compact for this. It is a bit on the narrow side, so it is well suited for a narrow build. The zippers have a rubber sleeve covering the "teeth" of the zipper, so I think they would be quite water-resistant because of this. It does make the zipper a tiny bit harder to slide due to this, though. It held up well to a week of beating, so I do recommend it.

This is fine if you are trying to fold up in a pocket or something. It is pretty thin.

Good product

The zipper fell apart the first time I used the pack. The pack seems to have a lot of nice features. I got it to use as a summit pack for multi-day trips. It makes a great stuff sack to hold my extra clothes in the big pack and then I can carry water and a jacket on a side hike. The zippered pocket is nice but too narrow for my (large) hand to fit in and pull out stuff from the bottom. There was no water bottle or anything heavy in the pack when the zipper just failed. Perhaps my unit is an outlier and the only bad one but I would not take that chance. There is a lot of inexpensive stuff on Amazon. Some are great deals while some are junk. My limited experience suggests that this pack is junk.

So far so good! Using this in Greece right now! It is the perfect size to fit my daily needed things-sweater, small purse, water, sunblock, lotion, mints, hat, sanitizer, iPad, and more! Small enough to get into museums A little worried about the zippers lasting for 11 days used each day. Will keep you posted
