Reliable 2.5G Switch with Great Build Quality
Very happy with this switch. It has the solid quality youโd expect from a major brand like NETGEAR. Setup was simple, performance has been stable, and I havenโt had a single issue since installing it. It also looks surprisingly sleek and premium, even though mine is hidden away inside a structured media panel most of the time. Overall, definitely a purchase Iโm happy with.

Plug, play and enjoy the higher throughput!
For home use, I love the simplicity, reliability and performance of unmanaged switches. I recently upgraded my residence Internet service from 1Gbps highly-oversubscribed cable to symmetric 2Gbps XG-PON. This was the perfect time to upgrade from my old (but functional) 1Gbps TP-Link 8 port switch to a newer 2.5Gbps switch. The NETGEAR was literally plug and play - all my existing CAT5E cables work well with their 1Gbps downstream devices, and I did upgrade the upstream link to the eero Pro 7 router to use CAT6A to realize the full 2.3G symmetric service. Well done NETGEAR - great value, totally quiet, well-constructed and easy to install.

Fantastic! Expensive...
Works great! Allowed me to backhaul one Eero Pro 7 to another Eero Pro 7 to use as a hub MUCH faster than doing so over Wi-Fi. Plug & play - afford me a reasonable amount of ports vs the 1 that T-mobile/Eero feels is appropriate. Works flawlessly with my routers, pc, laptop, ps5, Hue bridge, and a couple other smart home hubs.

Good throughput
Quiet, compact and fast. I have done multi-TB file transfers over it and it handles it like a champ. Only criticism is that the link lights are a little bright for where I have it - in my entertainment center - but otherwise itโs a decent little switch.

Great 2.5g Unmanaged Switch.
Currently there are not a lot of options for unmanaged 2.5g switches from US companies. Netgear fills this void with a very solidly built switch. It really is plug and play and works straight out of the box. No problems and I love the metal feel of the device. I can tell itโs made with quality.

Highly Recommend
Rock Solid. This is my second Netgear 8-port switch, my first (1G) is still going strong after I dunno how many years (10 probably), I just bought this one to get the (2.5G). Never a minutes trouble from either one.

Typical NETGEAR, a little more money but plug it in and go
I replaced a very old managed switch from NETGEAR that was technically still working but wasn't really giving me the speeds I needed. I did try updating the firmware (which had worked in the past to return things to normal speeds) but it was beyond its support life, and unplug/wait/plug back in, but it was just inconsistent. And only 10/100/1000. Plugged this in and right away even though the stuff plugged in only goes to 1000 (except my router) the speeds were higher than I had had before ever. Solid, simple, I expect I'll get at least as much life out of this one.

8 multi-gig ports at a high cost, but it works.
I'd give it 5 stars if it wasn't so expensive for an 8 port switch. At $200, it is one of the most expensive unmanaged 2.5G switches that Amazon offers. There are a lot of cheaper unknown brands that have more features but they are not reliable (I know, I tried and sent back). You get what you pay for and if you are looking for a reliable out of the box unmanaged switch for your 2.5G needs, this one won't let you down.

Achat pour รชtre rapide
Un petit achat suite ร l'Achat d'un nouveau routeur avec 4 sorties de 2.5G. J'ai pu diviser une sortie de mon routeur pour avoir un total de 2.5 qui peut entrer dans le routeur.
