Q.MaxSheet Metal Punch - 50mm QMA50M

Having tried in vain to find a step drill going up to 50mm (max I found was 45mm - typical!) I took the plunge and bought this Q.Max sheet metal punch. I greased it up as recommended and then used it to make a 50mm diameter hole in 16g (1.6mm) aluminium sheet. It went through like a knife through butter. Much easier than expected. I quickly smoothed off the hole with emery paper, and job done. This punch is very well made and looks like it will last for years. These punches are available in a variety of sizes and I must admit I bought one or two other sizes although I don't strictly need them at present. The 50mm size is the only one I've used to date but I can recommend it.
