The clips come off or don't attach on smaller terminals that great but the charger is excellent

It's wonderful to have a battery 1/4 the size of an auto battery that lasts 2.5 longer. However, the product came without a battery charger. I felt that the notice, if any, was insufficient. I was ready to use the battery with my electric motor the day it arrived. To my surprise, it did not have a charger. I had to wait several days to get the special charger needed to charge the battery properly.

Kit looks good but don't like that it gets very hot when charging , contacted vendor and quick reply to state that this is normal! But they hope to rectify in future upgrade.

Seems fine and does the job. A useful device to have in your car. Hope it will last.

This battery charger benefits from decent build quality and comes in a smart presentation box. It offers a pretty simple way to charge or trickle charge a battery and the connection process requires just two quite large alligator clips to get started or, if you prefer a cable with eyelets for a more secure connection. The unit is quite small and weighs less than half a kilogram making it possible to leave the unit inside the closed bonnet of your car which is handy if you are going a trickle charge. There is a simple readout on the unit to show the state of your battery and progress of the charge. You get protection against overheating via a heat sensor and also a cut out against overcharging. It should work well with most standard 12 V batteries, but two points to consider-you do need to be near a mains socket as you only get a 1m cable and this is not intended for outside use. Secondly, the price is slightly on the high side for this kind of charger. Nonetheless, this remains a handy device especially if you want to trickle charge your car if it is having a period without use.
