A total waste of time, I wired it in a instructed, but was dead as a door nail, but chscking other reviews, it seems these units are hit and miss.. I put my old radio back in and it worked straight away.

I'm very happy with this product, it was a 2 minute job installing this, it fit perfectly in the stock ford dashboard and the wiring fit the cars harness perfectly. When operating, the unit is not laggy, it has proper wireless android auto and apple carplsy functionality and all the little details are perfect e.g when you put the headlights onnat night the unit lights up red to match the dash , five stars! :)

I looked at this unit before getting it as a way to bring some modern features into my old Ford without making the car feel overdone and I really like how much it covers in one screen. The wireless carplay and android auto are what would matter most to me day to day because I want to get in start driving and have maps and music ready without plugging my phone in each time. I also like that voice control is there because it makes it easier to deal with directions or change music while keeping my attention where it should be. The screen even though it has buttons and it is practically enough because it gives enough room for navigation and menus without making the dash look awkward. I would also get a lot of use from the gps and wifi side since I prefer having both online and offline maps available and the option to add apps through a hotspot makes the system feel more flexible than a basic radio. The reversing camera is another part I really like because that is what I end up using every day once it is there and having a clear image come up automatically makes parking much easier. I also pay attention to call quality in a stereo and the built in plus external microphone setup is a nice touch for that. The eq controls and steering wheel support because I don't have to talk to the unit while I drive but the only issue with it is that it is quite slow because it has 2g ram and it loads not as fast as I wanted but it is still good for me because it has physical buttons so when I drive I don't even have to look at it and I don't have to stop every time to check my phone because I have most of its features displayed on the screen of this unit.

Faulty, does not turn on. connected the power. set it all up and as soon as i press the on button. nothing. not a noise or picture, £100 on a carplay that isn’t turning on. connected my old stock radio and the power works instantly so it’s not a power issue the carplay just doesn’t turn on. any help would be appreciated but as it stands i’ll have to send this back as i’m not losing £100.

Unfortunately when I went to install the radio I couldn't get it to power on. The quality of the radio felt very cheap. I wasn't able to test any functions unfortunately as no power to the unit

dont accept the repackaged ones, pointless. i bought this paid for fitting and doesnt work, now i am still waiting for a refund to be able to buy another very frustrating.
