NutriChef
I absolutely love my NutriChef air fryer! The large glass cooking container is one of my favorite features because I can see my food as it cooks without constantly opening the fryer. I love that it allows me to prepare delicious meals while feeling confident about using a healthier cooking option with a glass design. It’s easy to clean, much quieter that other air fryers I’ve used, and the overall design and quality are impressive. The only improvement I would love to see is a better locking or guiding system for the container to ensure it is always placed correctly before use. If the container is not pushed in completely, the plastic area near the heat can melt. Other than that, I highly recommend the NutriChef air fryer to anyone looking for a spacious, convenient, and reliable cooking appliance!

Love this Glass Air Fryer- Best I’ve Had
This is an amazing air fryer for the price!! It cooks so much better than my last one and I love that it’s glass so I am not cooking in plastic! It is also easy to clean and doesn’t take up too much counter space but it fits everything I need! Definitely a great purchase!

Great alternative to the cheap non stick brands
I bought this to get us through a kitchen renovation with no stove and it was a godsend. The glass basket was attractive because we needed something easy to clean (no kitchen sink or dishwasher) and we also wanted an alternative to non stick. Operation is pretty straightforward. It’s easy to cook air fryer-ready frozen foods, but I’ve made pork chops in them, and also grilled cheese sandwiches and tuna melts and they came out pretty good. Food comes out nice and crispy. I’ve even used it to reheat leftovers in a glass dish and it’s been fine. As with most air fryers, you need to do multiple batches if you need larger portions. It will only fit two sandwiches at once. Put it on high for at least an hour or more in the garage to get rid of the plastic smell, then do a sacrificial batch of pizza rolls or something just to make sure. It’s super quiet and you’d honestly forget it was even running were it not for the little beep when it’s done. You’d think the top would get hot but it doesn’t, so you can set your plate on top if you need to while getting the food out of the basket (I’m sure the manufacture says not to). This will probably go in the cupboard when our kitchen is fully operational, but it’s definitely nice in a pinch and would be perfect for people who don’t cook as much, need fast options, people with kids, or people who need an alternative to a stove or microwave.

Every home needs one of these! Food will never be the same again! ( in a good way)
I bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband because honestly I could not take the smell of fried chicken being microwaved anymore...however, this has been such a game changer, and new favorite, "toy," of his. Everything that he has made in there so far, from bagged frozen fried chicken to fresh sweet potatoes. From frozen pizza pockets to a steak. This has exceeded all expectations. The one flaw is the fact that the back handle that is actually used to grip and hold, arrived broken and placed inside the glass fryer. My husband kept this from me, wanting to use the fryer right away, and not return it. So..I am disappointed about that, but I do recognize that the problem may have been fixed had he not used the item and told me. It does go to show how much he does like the product though. The fryer is super easy to use, we have not gotten any disposable inserts for it, as they have not been needed. Clean up is very easy. It barely ever even needs to be thoroughly cleaned, as things just don't stick to the side and we have never used any kind of oil. Make sure to wash the product well when getting it, the instructions will even say so. Also, if you get a strange smell the first time it is completely normal and the instructions will also notify you of that. The cook time is quick. We made 2 sweet potatoes and it cut the cooking time in half. In the oven it would have been about an hour and the air fryer did it in 28 minutes. The microwave is quicker but once you experience the level an air fryer provides, you won't go back. The potatoes had perfectly crisped skin, which just made it next level delicious. The food is a completely different quality coming from an air fryer. A microwave is no longer used in our home to cook any frozen prepared food and we barely used the stove now. This is a a must have! Especially if looking to eat healthier by preparing your food in better ways. The pictures show the broken handle and where it should be attached. For reference I do not believe the handle just slides on I think you do need to undo screws to attach it properly and maybe that was where the problem arose. This may have been a returned item that just wasn't checked properly before reselling.. (this is only speculation), I'm not really sure what happened. I also showed the silicone pot holder that it comes with which is very handy especially since the back handle is broken on mine. You will also see in one of the pictures that there is specific settings for whatever it is that you are planning on cooking. These include items such as meat, fish, shell fish, fries, etc., it has the exact temperature that it needs to be cooked at and the duration of cook time.

Nice but
Generally wonderful. I don't care for the presets and wish they could be changed to what I need. And the glass bowl is HEAVY. Nice to see inside, very quiet, cooks well, cleans easily. If the controls were flexible or intuitive, it would be an all star.

visually monitor their cooking in real time.
he NutriChef 5.8QT Glass Air Fryer is a standout appliance in a crowded market dominated by standard plastic-and-metal baskets. By replacing the traditional opaque drawer with heavy-duty borosilicate glass, it addresses two of the biggest complaints users have about air fryers: chemical coatings flaking off and having to constantly open the basket to check on food. Overall, it earns a 4.2 out of 5 stars. It is an exceptional choice for health-conscious cooks and design enthusiasts, though it requires a bit more physical care than a traditional metal appliance. The Pros: Where It Excites Toxin-Free, Healthy Cooking: The number one reason to buy this model is the tempered glass basket. Traditional air fryers rely on Teflon-style non-stick coatings that can degrade, scratch, or emit chemical odors when heated to high temperatures. Glass is entirely inert, non-toxic, and naturally scratch-resistant, giving you total peace of mind. The "TV Window" Effect: The halogen/radiant heating element glows bright orange when it’s actively running. Paired with the 360-degree clear view, you don't have to guess when your food is done. You can watch your fries turn golden brown or your plantains caramelize perfectly without opening the basket and letting precious heat escape. Superior Cleanup: Unlike metal baskets with intricate plastic grates that trap grease, glass is incredibly smooth and non-porous. It doesn't absorb food odors (like fish), and cleanup is as simple as letting it cool and rinsing it with soap, or dropping the basket right into the bottom rack of the dishwasher. Sleek Countertop Aesthetic: When it sits on the counter, it looks high-end and modern. The minimalist digital control panel on top responds quickly, and the glowing basket gives your kitchen a sleek, futuristic vibe while cooking. The Cons: Things to Keep in Mind Weight and Ergonomics: Glass is significantly heavier than thin aluminum or plastic baskets. Shaking a full basket of fries mid-cycle requires a sturdy grip, and you have to be careful when handling it or setting it down on hard granite countertops (it usually includes a silicone trivet mat for this reason). The "Fingerprint Magnet" Top: The sleek black digital touchscreen on top looks great, but it easily collects fingerprint smudges and grease marks from your hands, requiring frequent quick wipes to keep it looking pristine. Maximum Temperature Cap: This unit maxes out at 390°F, whereas a few competitor models can reach 400°F or 450°F for hyper-fast searing. Because of the excellent convection airflow, it still crisps beautifully, but it might take an extra minute or two for heavy meats. Performance Notes Fries & Sides: Exceptional. The included elevated stainless steel mesh tray allows hot air to rush underneath the food, giving you a remarkably uniform crunch without requiring much oil. Baking & Reheating: Because glass retains heat exceptionally well, this unit acts like a true mini-oven. It is phenomenal for crisping up leftovers or baking small batches of items without drying the interiors out.

So glad I bought this!
I absolutely love my NutriChef 5.8 Quart Air Fryer! It has made cooking so much easier and healthier. The food comes out crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and cooks much faster than my oven. I especially appreciate the generous size, which is perfect for making meals for my family without having to cook in multiple batches. The controls are simple to use, cleanup is quick, and I love being able to check on my food through the transparent bowl without interrupting the cooking process. Overall, it's been a fantastic addition to my kitchen, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an easy-to-use, versatile air fryer.

Top temp 375, still working great
I'm replacing my old nonstick. I wanted a cooking vessel that is exactly like my new Nutrichef 5.8. I sized up, and have more cooking area. Love the square instead of round. I expect it to be heavy if it's a good product, and was expecting it to be heavier because of others reviews. It has a great weight, and expectedly so. Not too heavy for what it is. They also provide the handle on the far side, easy. This model has a flat top. The touch pad lays flat on top the machine. My tendency is to put things up there. Probably not a good idea with the contols up there. I like the flat top. Inside, the heating coil (top) has a grate over it. I appreciate that my food isn't going to fly up there and stick to the coil. My last machine tornado'd my english muffin, sometimes sticking to the top, mostly just tossing my food around. I cleaned the device with soap and water, then put an inch of water in the vessel, turned it on to burn off manufactured ick. No smell, no sound. Is this thing even working? Yup, lights up from hot coil, water moves about gracefully. No furiosity, I had to lean in to hear it. There is no noticeable external heat from the device, seems to hold its heat well. In a pinch, you could boil water in this thing (use ur hotpot). I made toast next. The highest temperature for the Nutrichef is only 375. I'm used to toasting on 400. I am able to toast, it just takes longer. The difference is this device isn't tossing my toast, and i can check it without interrupting the process. I just didn't expect that making toast would be such a different experience. I understand the lower wattage has that trade off of not being able to get to 400. It uses a two prong electrical cord instead of the 3 prong. Cleaning is easy. It's like pyrex glass. The machine is very open and easy to get in there. Be careful if you have balance issues, looking at it makes you feel like you're going to get sucked through to a different dimension. Don't fall in. I love it. 5 stars. No more nonstick surfaces, easier cleaning, quiet, esthetically pleasing, flat top, grate cover on burner, could boil water, expected weight, easy to hold handles, extras: Large trivet, steaming grate.

Excellent first air fryer purchase!!
Very impressed so far. This is the first air fryer I have bought and can see why people opt to use these over traditional deep fryers. Due to having celiac I had to stop frying my food in contaminated oil so I thought I’d cook my gluten free food in an air fryer instead. Further I was worried about non stick coatings which eventually peel and cause harm when accidentally consumed so I wanted a glass dish to prevent that. Lastly I needed one which was not too bulky but not so small that I can’t cook a decent meal in. This ticked all the boxes, this is the first ever air fryer I have used and the food I made was cooked perfectly. The clean up was very easy with minimal scrubbing. It looks great on the counter top and barely has a footprint larger than a A4 sheet of paper. The quality seems excellent. Further due to it having a glass bowl you can see how the food is cooking without having to open it which wastes energy and time. I would highly recommend this in general and if you are health conscious trying to avoid none stick coating air fryers. Thank you

We recommend it, very useful
I bought this for my daughter's dorm room and she's very happy with it. It's easy to clean and she can keep track of what she's cooking through the glass container.

Chemical free air frying
I spent a long time researching air fryers before buying one because I specifically wanted to avoid nonstick coatings, forever chemicals (PFAS/PTFE), and the overheating issues that seem to come up in a lot of reviews (and recalls). The glass cooking bowl/carafe on this model was a huge selling point for me because it feels much cleaner and safer compared to many chem coated basket-style air fryers. After comparing brands this was one of the few models that checked all the boxes I cared about (fewer reported safety concerns, no traditional nonstick coating in the cooking area, and a simple design that’s easy to clean and monitor while cooking.) So far, it’s worked really well. Food cooks evenly, it heats quickly, and I like being able to actually see the food through the glass while it cooks, and its easy enough for my lazy teenagers to use. It also feels sturdier and less “chemical/plastic” than many other air fryers I looked at. The bowl/basket is heavy so extra care needs to be taken when holding it, but rarely do you have to carry it anywhere other than a few inches from the base. There's also a silicone trivet/mat thingy that is included to set the hot bowl down on, that is put directly in front of the base when in use. This is the best air fryer if you're trying to avoid unnecessary Teflon like coatings or forever chemicals or want a more old school/simple small cooking appliance instead of using the oven every time, but this one is definitely worth considering.
