Fantastic chassis
Great build quality and finish. The blue accents on the black add a nice touch of personality and functionality while keeping the device clean and professional. Screen colors aren't the best but for work, light editing and gaming it's fine. Personally I had no use for the hdd bay and wish they just had a bigger battery. It's not to say that the battery isn't good but laptop batteries can always improve. The "G7" and Dell branding is a bit excessive. Bezels are a little thick but what it lacks in sleekness it makes up in durability. It took about a week to arrive but overall I am satisfied with the product and delivery.

Bought for Monster Hunter: Worlds. Works very well for that game and actually doesn't run very hot, but I recommend re-pasting the CPU with some better quality thermal paste, like Arctic Silver, if you're gonna try to overclock it.

Ultra settings are no problem
I ended up buying this from Best Buy on sale for 869.00. I have always been a Mac user for personal computers but PC at work. I’ve gotten into Pc gaming recently and the MacBook just wasn’t doing it.The Dell G7 is phenomenal. Very well built and sturdy. I have no worries about it being flimsy.I play Fortnite, PUBG, WOW, and Diablo 3. I can run all these games on Ultra setting with ZERO issues. I was really impressed. The 1060 is fantastic and far superior than the 1050Ti that I tested.The keyboard is really good quality. Plenty of USB 3.0 ports, and the built in webcam s really good quality.Comes with 2x4gb memory sticks and one M.2 256gb hard drive. There is an empty slot for a SATA 3.5” drive which I filled with a Crucial 500gb drive.This laptop is a great buy. Very pleased with my switch.

Excellent for Gaming!
I bought this laptop after a lot of research. I discovered that the combination of a hexa-core i7 processor with the GTX 1060 was more than up to the task of playing any of the games I wanted to play. It even played games like Detroit: Become Human or Apex Legends without any real difficulty.The only cons might be the fan noise gets a bit loud when cranking up the performance, and that 8 GB DDR4 is barely enough to run all the games that I want to play. That said, once I upgrade the RAM it will be perfect for pretty much anything!
