For light duty only
I have been using a cheap plastic rod about 3 feet in length that is barbed to pull up hair from drains. It’s good for that, but recently my shower drain was draining slow and that rod wasn’t able to reach far enough to clear it or fix the problem.I used this Kinglev drain snake and extended it out for about 10 feet. I slowly worked it into the drain while slowly turning the handle. I did find it a little cumbersome to use. The hand crank required some force, and holding it and turning the handle was challenging, but I was able to get it done. I used a thick rag to wipe the scum from the snake as a pulled it out. I am glad they included the gloves as it definitely was messy. I took it outside to hose the line off and remove hair from the end before putting the line back in and tightening it.I definitely would say this is light duty, occasional use type of tool that should last many years since in my household it won’t be used often. Overall the quality of the plastic housing and handle is okay and suitable for light use. I didn’t attempt to attach a drill to spin it thinking it would be overkill and possibly cause damage to the plastic pipe if used incorrectly. At the end of the day and at this price point there are probably better choices, but lastly it did clear my drain and I am glad for that.

Works on outdoor yard drains, too
My drain line from the backyard drainage system got blocked. I suspected rats building a nest in the pipe. I inserted this snake into a drain and directed it toward the street. In about 20 ft I could tell it reached the blockage. I spun it a few times and pulled it back. Yup, nesting material, weeds and stuff. A couple more cycles and viola the drain was free flowing. I put a large rock in the pipe at the street to prevent a repeat of this. Worked great.

Works but not great
This drain snake, while it worked somewhat, was not that easy to use. Even twisting or using a power drill doesn't mean it will make it around sharp turns. The instructions don't completely match up with the item. The gloves and bag are nice. The build quality of the drain snake seems pretty good.

solved the problem !
I recently used this plumbing snake with a drill adapter for my clogged sink. After struggling for weeks with slow drainage, I decided to give this tool a try. It was easy to use, both manually and with a drill. I managed to pull out a huge clump of hair that was causing the blockage. The sink is now cleared, and the water drains quickly. The gloves and storage bag were a nice addition. Highly recommended!

Critical design flaws!
All tradesmen and the vast majority of DIY'ers have experienced of tool failure while trying to do a job. That is why it is often preached 'to buy the best tools you can afford, because they will payoff in the long run.'This tool is a long (35ft) flexible steel cable intended to be inserted in steel pipes. This said cable's purpose is to break-up clogs in pipes by rotating the cable on the end of an electric drill (at less than 500RPM).It is commonly known that plastic breaks, and that the older plastic becomes the more brittle it becomes. Brittle plastic is even easier to break than newer plastic. Now, doesn't it seem like this product is doomed for failure of the plastic housing and plastic handle? Picture how upsetting it would be to have this long steel cable inserted in a clogged, gooey pipe and have the plastic housing and/or handle crack in two!!Thank the good Lord that they have provided gloves with this product to retrieve the disgusting steel cable out of the piping!I will save my money for better tools, or even better, to call a plumber when a clog occurs. One star gentlemen. It is fixable, however, more costly by putting your steel cable in a metal housing and handle!

Does the job!
This snake was the perfect length. I ran it once through the pipe and it worked like a charm. Definitely easy to use and a deal! I’m sure this will last a long time and will rescue me countless more times!

not for the biggest of clogs
Drain Snake, 35ft Plumbing Snake With Drill Adapter,Heavy Duty Flexible Sink Drum Auger and Drain unblocking Snake, Manual Or Powered With Work Gloves and Storage Bag🏎️ Quick Rec:A helpful tool for unclogging drains that is worth considering, especially for occasional use and light-duty tasks.📝 Additional Notes:I found this drain snake to be quite effective in tackling a clogged drain. It was straightforward to use though I don’t see this working on the most stubborn blockages.✅ Pros ✅- Easy to use, even for those without prior plumbing experience.- Functional and effective in clearing clogs.- Comes with gloves and a storage bag.- Sturdy construction that should withstand occasional use.-❌ Cons ❌- Can be a bit cumbersome to handle, especially when extended fully.- The hand crank requires a bit of a jolt to get going.- Might not be suitable for heavy-duty or frequent use. Your plumber will have a better quality model instead- instructions are not great but using it is not hard to figure out on its own
