Hi they are made in Bradford. . Very good quality.. I bought 2 lots and the bigger size ones as well.. The big ones are massive ... If you scroll down on any product/order on amazon.. And see where it says who are selling it..click on the name of the company it gives your their address/details...scroll futher down and gives you the reviews and such.. Hope that helps x

Would these bags hold liquid, ie chicken stock ??

Yes they would hold liquid but these are quite small bags, but I can get 2 pork chops in one bag for eg.
