I feel like I got a used/bad battery. It came uncharged and wouldn't take a full charge from the beginning. Even when I put it on a trickle charger it says its full or shows an error message when I know it is not charged. Im a little disappointed. Edit: The company reached out to me and offered a new battery free of charge. The new one that came has worked wonderfully and I have nothing but great things to say about their customer service. They were friendly, timely and all around concerned about making me happy. Thanks again for the replacement and I will recommend these to anyone simply for the customer service alone!

Like the battery but don't believe the "made for" statement in the description. I have a 2021 Iron 883 and while the dimensions are good the polarity of the terminals is reversed. The positive terminal is on the left side and the negative is on the right. On a stock US made battery the polarities are opposite which is the correct way for the this bike. I had to get a little creative when connecting the cables but was successful when all was said and done. As far as functionality is and performance is concerned this battery is above par. Startup is almost instantaneous with no noticeable drain. As soon as I press the start button the bike comes alive. No three or four cycle before ignition as it used to do with the lead acid battery even when it was fully charged. If you're mechanically inclined or have a mod bike I highly recommend the battery. If you're looking for a plug and play replacement, keep looking.

Direct fit for my 06 Softail and came fully charged (12.8 measured out of the box). Easy install and, contrary to what a lot of other reviews say, the screws ARE long enough to catch the nuts on the first try. 4 Stars because the motorcycle hesitates slightly when first cranking. The bike does start and runs normally, so it’s not a major issue, but I expected stronger, more immediate cranking from a brand-new battery. Hopefully it’s just normal behavior, but I’ll be monitoring it and will adjust the review as needed.
