Q: My mother could benefit from a life alert device but refuses to use it. Can this be used to notify me in case she has an emergency?

My stepfather has a Jitterbug Phone which has an emergency button on it. And he also had a splash medical or any type of danger alert system button. He just updated the button to one that has a fall detector. It's $50. I think you can buy it at Walgreens or a drug store or Best Buy. It's not that big to wear around his neck he says he barely feels it. For the phone and his button he pays I think $50 a month

Q: If i get up at night the sleep monitor only monitors the time since I got up. Is there any way to have it monitor the entire sleep cycle?

The Amazfit algorithm is currently set to calculate sleep during "typical" sleep hours (i.e. night time hours 8 pm-6 am). And the watch analyzes the time you woke up based on the status of your wrist and body, If you woke up but in a completely still state, the device may judge that you are being sleep. Q: Just got my watch. first, how can i make the screen brighter? how do i change to a 12 ( not 24hr) clock?

OK, the first thing you do is press on the stem. That turns it on so you can swipe on the screen and go many different places. To get to settings swipe to the left 8 times. When you get to settings, one of the options is adjust brightness. Tap on the squares to the right to increase brightness. Another option is watch face. Here you have about a dozen different watch faces to choose from. You can't change the watch from 24 hour to 12 hour, but you can pick a different face that shows the time in 12 hour.
