Good study guide for AP world as a supplement to Hemlers.

We thought this book was good. Helpful and concise for AP test review. Son passed with the score of 4 on the test.

It's a review book, not much can be said about it.

I am an AP teacher. This book is an excellent review of AP history, IF you have a child who is willing to work hard, spend time reading, make their own study materials, and really dedicate their time to learning. It contains pages and pages of reading before any questions or review activities pop up. Long sections with no review question or work. I wish there was more interactive work spread out through our each section. This is no way for students to learn or review. But, it is very cohesive and has the necessary material included. You could make good use of it, again, if you are willing to try.

The good: structure of the content, notes and ability to test. The bad: we found several typos and incorrect test answers.

I never leave reviews, but I am so disappointed in this year's edition of Barrons I felt compelled to. I teach AP World and I have my class get this book as a supplemental every year, but I feel like I did them a diservice this year by doing so. The book has literally been cut in half content wise, but the price has stayed the same. I am being very generous even giving two stars. Going to switch to 5 steps to a 5 for next year for sure.
