Very nice DVD player. I got two of them. One of them had a slight imperfection on the screen that was hardly noticeable, but I decided to try and rub it out anyway. I should have left it alone as I ended up making a mess of it. I contacted Pofoto and they sent me a replacement at no charge. They responded right away and to every email I sent. That kind of outstanding customer service is rare these days and was very much appreciated. The DVD player as others have noted has good picture quality, good color, good sound. If you put in a DVD where the colors are off, very easy to adjust. Also, it’s large enough so that more than one person can watch at a time. I recommend this DVD player for the quality and because of the responsiveness of Pofoto.

Love my POFOTI 17.5 Portable DVD Player! The big screen is great, feels like I’m watching a small tv. The clarity and color is good. My problem is the remote, I can’t get it to work. Could be the operator. I highly recommend this dvd player!

We had another one that was very small, expensive, and the picture was not great. It eventually failed. I started research but not expecting to find a good one, but I was very surprised. This is a excellent portable DVD Player. It actually looks like a laptop due to the large 15.6 inch screen. I instantly put it to use as my in-law was in the hospital and wanted to play something she liked instead of the standard hospital TV. I provided an image that seems more representative over the stocked image. It is very nice. The layout was very nice and covers all the selections a viewer would want to operate the player easily (image). The edge has all the connection points on the side which is convenient instead of all over the unit on many sides (see image). The unit can connect to other devices to play such as USB, SD card, and connection to monitors or tv's. This is very flexible for presentations and devices other than a DVD itself. Note the image that shows the interconnecting cables supplied for this portable DVD player (the ac charging cable is not shown as it is in use already). This portable can be used in a vehicle to entertain its riders and kids on trips. We all know that can be important. I consider this portable DVD player as top of the line for most people and can be used anywhere. It is well built and the design thoroughly thought thru from a user perspective. With the swivel top it can be directed for many people to watch. The sound is great and certainly loud enough if needed. Due to the flexibility of usage and the excellent quality, we are considering getting another for our use as well. I highly recommend this player for anyone. It is of high quality and an excellent choice. We expect to use it for many years. It also has a great warranty as well. Buy one it is excellent.

I'm very happy with this DVD player - picture, sound, ease of use, weight, size. I had a question about using it and contacted the vendor. The response was AMAZING!!!! I heard back right away with detailed instructions - so polite and patient. I highly recommend this product and this vendor!

It’s a great dvd player and the picture and sound are great.

I purchased this for my mom. She doesn't have a TV but enjoys watching DVDs on personal DVD players. I have bought her several different players, but this one is by far her favorite! The amount of time for the player to come was super fast. I always love that! Her last two DVD players were Boifun with similar dimensions as this one and the same cost. My mom is hard of hearing and wears hearing aids. She said that the sound on this DVD plyer was so much better than the others. She could take her hearing aids out, have the volume down to 3 and still hear everything extremely well. The dual speakers produce a crisp and clear sound. The 15.6" large HD wide view screen produces a clear picture. It makes everything so easy to see even for those who might have some trouble with that. The controls of this DVD player are simple and very easy for "an old lady to learn to use!" ;) The feature that makes the DVD start where it left off is nice too. I hate having to start from the beginning and trying to find my spot again! The battery holds a nice long charge too. The 2 year warranty is nice too. They responded quickly to my email to register for it too.

I use the crap out of this thing great price, portability is great it's reliable and I just wanted to watch DVDs in my room. This is cheaper and better off than the stupid DVD player by itself. Compatible with other TVs too

After a recent power outage, I needed a "spare" portable DVD player because my 2009 (yes, 2009) Sony portable player's (w/LCD, Dolby Sound) Lithium battery expired a LONG time ago and can only play via adapter (electric). I realize we are in a different time now (digital) and hard, physical media is holding on for dear life (as well as your content ownership right) but how we went from my Sony 2009 player to this is a crying shame. I was hoping Sony would come to their senses and make one last portable DVD player that would blow everyone away but that's not going to happen with their recent announcement of NO new PS game production effective January 2028. (They must not like $$) Anyway, back to this POFOTO.. Once you figure out the settings, you'll feel better (no in depth directions on that but you'll figure it out. The sound is pretty loud. A plus. The tilt screen IS nice and big. The picture is clear but depending on the angle you are at (and whoever is with you) you will need to tilt the screen to adjust the quality of your picture (No LCD, it's not 2009 here 😏) The remote works fine once it is properly paired with the unit. It played about 4.5 hours on battery for me, not 6. It also played a (multi region) Australian DVD successfully and a CD. It also delivered files from a memory stick but did "eat" a camera card. I did not test any gaming. (Whenever this player ceases to work, I have a reminder note to smash it and retrieve the camera card that is floating around inside of the unit) The unit's housing is thin plastic, gets warm, and is awkwardly big and clunky. You can also "hear" it load. All in all, working properly, it does what it's supposed to do for $100. It is what it is and better than nothing. Only you know your expectations. Now if only I had the power at Sony!! 😊
