Great piece of kit!
Only gave it a test drive in my kitchen. I’m very happy so far. This is not a backpacking kit but for car camping with 1-2 people it’s great! Heated water in the kettle faster than my kitchen’s electric stove. I can also use my cast iron griddle on it which is a big plus for me.Setup…a little fiddly first time but with use I think it will be second nature.Mark Young does a thorough and positive review on YouTube. His only complaints were:large pot not stable- I found that with water or food in it, it sits solidthe latching tabs on the base we’re bendable in storage- the base inverts for storage and if you lock it in place I think this will protect them.I’m very happy with my purchase and will look into other Firemaple products!

Firemaple cooking kit "update"
The media could not be loaded. For the price it's alright."Update "After testing l changed to 4 starsI found the safety factor most important, and with the wide base even is severe wind I wasn't concerned about it tipping over. The pros:price for all that you get the price is great.Comes with a alcohol stove. The base is wide and locks together.Comes with a mesh bag.The pot gripper is strong built rugged.Quality pot, frying pan and lid which fits both. And the most important is customer service.FireMaple gets a thumbs up. They care about customers and want take care of any issues.Cons:The pot hanger design is horrible they have a three step configuration, and nether the pot or the pan sit snuggly on them, and they sit to far away from the alcohol burner. No wind protection to many holes In the bottom, slits in the side. Can't boil a small cup of coffee, need to use the pot.Work around:I added a windscreen.I made a base plate to cover the holes in the bottmI used metal tent stakes inserted into the slots to 1-bring down the height of the pot and pan closer to 1 inch mark. And 2-I can now boil my cup of coffee.Would I purchase this againI would but I would considerthe gas version first.

Small size and should be enough for a small family in case of emergency
This little stove and pan/pot set rocks. I bought this to use in my bug out bag, since I need to be able to cook for a small family, and this should be enough in case of emergency. Comes with the burner, pot, frying type pan, kettle. Now I just need to find a decent utensil set.

Decent starter kit
This set worked pretty good with a Trangia stove. The stove that comes with, looks like a Trangia but it is not. It was never advertised as a Trangia I was just shocked when comparing the two stoves. With the Trangia stove in this set, 1 L of water hard boil took about 9 mins. With supplied stove I stopped at 13 mins. The set is fairly thin and for the money not bad just not what I was expecting. Pot holders need reworked nothing fit flush not even the supplied pot and skillet. For a starter kit not bad but long term I would shy away.

Everything you Need
This is a really nice set as it has everything you need for cooking while camping or being in an RV. It's a perfect little set for 2 people that is compact and stackable. It really does not take up much space at all considering how many parts it comes with. It's a good quality set as well, nothing extremely amazing, but definitely perfect for minimal camping needs. They clean up really easily as well.Item Name: Fire Maple Versatile Outdoor Cooking Set – High-Efficiency 3KW Portable Stove with Aluminum, Stainless Steel & Copper Pots – Compact & Durable Camping Cookware Compatible with Alcohol & Gas Stoves

First one had problems, but Amazon swapped it out.
The first one that came had multiple dents on three of the components. Dense that look like they were there before the aluminum was anodized, because there were no scratches. Very weird. And the two pieces of the main body wouldn't lock together because the tabs weren't in the right position. Amazon swapped it out for me, and the new one is much better. There are a couple of very small dents on one part, but that's it. Still weird. And the two halves locked together just fine, although it's very stiff. Haven't actually used yet, so I will edit this when I have more info. At the current $36 price point I have to wonder if these are actually scratch and dent kits?

Great for camping
This is a great little cookware set for camping and for RV’s.It’s perfect for 2 people. It can be used with propane or over a grill with real flames. It’s very compact and super easy to store and travel with. It’s very light weight and took up no space when we took them with us for glamping. They’re also very easy to clean. You’d be surprised by the compact size this entire set is. They’re all stackable and you really don’t need multiple pots and pans while cooking.Overall, this is a quality set. Nothing glamorous but it does the job intended.
