This really did work well. Worth the price.
I searched far and wide and found a plethora of bone tweezers. I don't know about the others, but these really do work. We had been using regular tweezers to pull the bones and found that they often slipped, and tore up the fish quite a bit. I bought these and they work great. They are big enough that you can really get a good grip on the bone. When you pull, you get a lot of leverage on the bone. There is still a bit of disruption to the meat, but the bone is out.I just bought a second Easyboner for another location. The product is wonderful; you feel good using it.

Great Product!
This is a great product. I now use easybone tweezers twice a week to remove the bones from a steelhead trout and so far i'm very happy with the result. I should have got it long time ago; but like many others I didn't want to get another tool for this job.In the past I used pliers to remove fish bones and the process took longer since they aren't spring-loaded, so it's a pain to keep opening them to release the bone. Also pliers tend to damage more the meat around the bone.I guess there are many other tools to remove bones and it all comes down to personal preference.I'm happy with the product and it seems to be very well constructed.

Fin AND Feather
What I like most about the Easy Boner is the ease and confidence it provides to remove even the smallest of those "harpoons" that all commercially sold seafood products seem to have. Yes, sometimes there are stubborn ones but using the corner of the jaws works great. Also, the "teeth" are not too sharp to slice off most bones, but that comes with practice. As an added use for this tool, I also use it to remove pin feathers from wild duck and upland birds to make a better table presentation. Only negative is the lofty price, but I did find them practical enough to buy a pair as a gift.

Dont get sticker shock. Worth the extra cash.
This is a great fish boner. Wider than other cheaper boners so I can keep a firm grip even when slimy. You feel like you have a tool in your hand and not a fancy pair of tweezers. Broad edge is finely machined. Extra cost over others on Amazon definitely offset by the superior quality. Quick shipping too

I actually haven't used it yet but it seems well made and should last a long time. I used to use a vegetable peeler or pliers but think this will make it much easier.

which are very strong and sturdy. I have only used them two or three ...
A few months ago I bought fish bone tweezers for about $10 on Amazon, and they didn't hold up. That's why I bought these tweezers, which are very strong and sturdy. I have only used them two or three times, but they do the job and they are so well made I can't imagine that I will every need to buy fish bone tweezers again.
