IT WORKED in Just over a Month!!!!
My daughter is 4 and it was time to stop the thumb sucking. the only negative thing was that i needed over a month supply of the bracelets. we used it every night and my daughter slowly stopped sucking her thumb. we had her pick out the color for the night and she helped put it on and cut the straps off. we got her involved so she did not feel that it was a punishment. we had sent my daughter to my parents for the weekend (a little over a month since we stated using the product) and we forgot to give the guard to them, she came home and no more thumb sucking. it was by accident that we found out that she stopped but i love the fact that it worked and fast. this was much better than the over $750 that the dentist wanted for a devise that goes in the mouth. we use it a few nights here and there to reinforce the habit of not sucking on her thumb. i would recommend the product to everyone. i think it really works. i got the medium size ( a little bigger according to their recommendations) this way she can have it for a while and that it completely covers her thumb.

Very good design
I switched to buying regular paper bracelets for my child because these bracelets are too expensive, however she can easily unstick the paper bracelets and remove the guards. So, we had to go back to buying these specific bracelets. Thumb sucking habit is a very strong habit. My child did well for a while without the guard and then relapsed. These bracelets are helping her thumb guards stay put all night, it's impossible to remove them without using the scissors.

Bands
The bands make such a difference with keeping the guards on. My daughter likes to slip hers off and this helps it stay on all night

The only thing that worked to help our 5 year old kick the habit of sucking her thumb!
This worked like a charm to help our 5 year old kick the habit of sucking her thumb, especially at night. We used the nail polish in years past, but she eventually fought through the bitter taste. My only suggestion for other parents is to remove it EVERY DAY to clean and moisturize the thumb, and possibly leave it off for part of the day. We got lazy after a few weeks and our daughter's thumb developed a pretty severe rash/sore from leaving it on for days on end.

Best bands for the job
These are soft enough to be comfortable but sturdy enough to stay on for an extended time and reuse.

I think this product is made for babies.
I brought and used this product for my 2 yr old. I really liked the guard, I just feel it's for babies maybe 6 months to 1ish years at the max. With my experience I felt all I was doing was keeping it out her mouth for the time she wore it( which was everyday). I would take it off for a bath or dinner, but the moment it was off she would be at it! The bracelets became a bill, it was a serious habit at 2ish. I think it would be great for beginners! WHAT STOPPED MY TODDLER: So my daughter was almost 3 and it was time for her to stop, that's the age the dentist recommended. I purchased some nail polish from target for nail bitten (Ella Mila) before I purchased the guard but it didn't work. At the time she had just got off formula milk and just started eating, so she really didn't know the difference between a bitter sweet taste! Because the milk is gross if you ask me! But for a baby that don't know a difference really they can stand the taste of that polish. Alot parents say it didn't work for their children, my first attempt didn't work either. After the guard she was 2ish and at that time I was feeling desperate, I tried it again. Now at this age she been doing some good eating OK lol she know the difference lol, so I decided to paint her nails! PARENTS IT WORKED!!!! She was like this is bad from that point on! I had to share this blessing! I had too! Now her thumb has healed and I feared she would be upset with me when she got older, because it was pushing her teeth out! I'm just so glad to share this, I hope it helps someone else!

Price Point too High
I have twins that have sucked their thumbs nearly since birth. We have been very close to completely ditching the habit while using the t-guard. However, since there is only a certain amount in the package, we go through it twice as fast, and this mama’s pockets are not that deep each month for disposable bracelets. I tried other options (silicone cord wraps, event bracelets, etc), but nothing else will keep the t guard in place like the snap bracelets by t guard. Additionally, they are smaller in width than other off brand bracelets, so nothing else will fit them. As a mom of twins, I kindly ask that the price point on these one-use-bracelets come down a bit—maybe comparable to event bracelet prices…?!

Best option
We tried other types of wristbands, but these are the only ones that fit the t-guard and don't irritate or cut skin.

Excellent
Ils sont résistants et impossible de l'ouvrir après l'avoir fermé.
