Thee BEST Multiport Powered USB Hub, bar None.
I flight sim, so have a LOT of Additional Flight Sim Hardware, (22 to be precise). I wanted a reliable POWERED USB Hub to power my new Hardware, so did some research and this brand came up as among the top contenders for a realistic price. I am NOT Disappointed with my purchase have had ZERO USB Drop-outs, and the 60w PSU provides ample power to the 8 devices i have so far attached to this 10 port Hub, with capacity for the remaining two ports to be populated when my next Hardware arrives. Can Easily Recommend this Brand, and also the On/Off button type, meaning i can turn off individual USB ports for when i am Updating Firmware to certain USB connected Hardware, without interferience from other USB ports.

Excellent Solution To Run Sim Racing Rig
Excellent 10 slot usb hub fron Sabrent. My constantly evolving sim racing rig has 9 peripherals attached which all require a usb connection when gaming. I chose this brand as have purchased before and found the quality to be excellent, top reliability and look good too. Each usb slot is switched so you can turn off peripherals not being used if required. One cable connects to a pc and a power supply brick powers the hub. I can highly recommend this product. Excuse my messy cabling in the photo, this will be tidied in due course.

It works very well especially with each port being powered from the low voltage transformer.
Excellent little product and does exactly as it says on the tin. If I had to suggest an improvement it would be that with a possible 10 USB leads leading to the item, some form of locating screws on the base or a fixable holder would allow it to be fixed to a wall or similar. That in itself should not be seen as any criticism of this excellent little product.

Excellent... until a port dies.
This is a good hub and the switches allow for easy connction and unconnecion of devices unlike if there no switches which would require devices to be unplugged. However, having owned many of these over the years, I do find that, on occasion, a port will stop working. This is unfortunates, otherwise the product would be perfect for what it is.

Want to successfully connect loads of USB devices to a single USB port? Buy one of these.
I have a ThinkCentre M720q Tiny PC which has 5 USB ports + 1 USBC port - 3 of the USB ports are black so are USB2.0, and 2 are blue so are USB 3.0. I was using an unpowered 4 port USB hub but I guess the power draw was more than the source USB port could supply as not all of my USB drives were recognised when plugged in. I have previous experience with Sabrent as a brand for hard drive cases, so it was on my very short list of brand names when looking for a powered docking station. As all the ports on this docking station have their own switches, I just switch on which devices I need to be present. Currently I have a microphone, external webcam, 3 hard drives (2 SSD's and 1 HDD (which has it's own power supply)), and a two camera battery chargers. They all work just fine, and I've successfully copied files between two of the drives attached to the hub. No longer do I have to keep unplugging devices to plug another one in, and my desktop looks a lot tidier as a result. The hub itself is solidly built, and I'm thinking of getting a second one for my other USB 3.0 port as I have many more USB SSD and HDD drives sitting around.

Should have bought one ages ago!
PROS No more finding the right lead to plug external HDDs into the two USB3 sockets at the front of my PC case, this is so much easier and neater. Data transfer seems top-notch to me, I haven't done any tests but seems just as fast as plugging straight into the PC. Like the switches although I wish they were a different colour so easier to see, but they offer a good positive click when pressed. I did buy a high speed USB cable just to make placement easier and more flexible. CONS Very few! I'd like the LEDs to be brighter, you have to look down on to them in order to see them, not ideal. Personally, I'd like a bit more weight to it as the HDD leads come from under the desk & pull the hub at an angle. Some double-sided number-plate tape sorted that out. I'm working my way through one small issue. I have powered external HDDs installed on the hub. When I restart the PC, these power up when hitting the individual power button on the hub but Win 11 doesn't "see" the drive. Unplugging the hub from the PC and reattaching or unplugging and reattaching the HDD solves the issue. Have disabled the option in device manager that allows the PC to power down the hub (to save energy) but the problem persists. working on it! All-in-all, highly recommended.

Perfect USB hub for Batocera
I bought this USB hub so that I could plug in my retro video game controllers to my mini PC running Batocera without having to keep plugging and unplugging them. The individual power buttons for each usb port is perfect because Batocera can get janky when you have a bunch of controllers plugged in at the same time. Now I can just turn on which controller I want to use and it makes things so much easier. I have not had any problems with compatibility as all of my controller to usb adapters work fine. My Logitech Driving Force GT works through it as well. The design of the unit is simple and effective. I have no problems using all of the ports if needed. The lights are bright enough to let me know which ports are active without being too bright and distracting. I think the only problem is that I probably should have got the 16-port USB hub instead of the 10 because I have a lot more controllers to try out. I've not used this hub with a Windows machine yet but I can tell by the way it functions with Batocera that it is a more-than-capable multi port hub that will satisfy the needs of most. Highly recommend.

Heat can be an issue
I replaced my old router because it was over heating and causing the connection to drop. I would noticed that after a minute as the speed would start dropping till the connection fails. This was a replacement to fix that issue but while it is better and has yet to totally fail, the heat is still an issue. USB3.0 rates of data transfer can overwhelm hardware but my old one worked flawlessly for a year before heat became an issue. This started straight away... even with just a single hard drive plugged in (the only physically connected cable) I have had it a week and it works for the small stuff, but when you want 10Gb or more... nope, it overheats and the drive's plug gets real hot. I'm going to set it up on my other PC's and see if it's localized, but I doubt it.
