Lots of power in a small mower
Let's talk lawn mowers. My yard isn't huge, but it is enough to make you tired walking back and forth. I used a gas mower for years. When we purchased this house, I decided to get a battery-operated mower since we sold our riding mower back in Texas. I've had it for about a year. It replaced another well-known battery-operated mower that stunk! Battery didn't hold for the entire yard. It was heavy and just wasn't what I expected for a name brand. It broke and hubby tried to find parts etc. It just didn't work out. I ordered from Amazon because of reviews and said a prayer. This mower is awesome! I didn't want to review it right away because seems like the item breaks as soon as you give it high marks. 🤞 It's so awesome I got my Dad one too. He is 84 and likes to be active but a gas mower was getting to much for him. The pushing is as easy as a Childs stroller and feels sort of like a toy because it's so light. Don't let that fool you, it has power. It will fling rocks like a gas power and mows cleanly. It has mulch or bag too. We can get about 3 moss on one charge btw.

Light, great battery life, easy to use
Now I don't do reviews all but after using this mower for the first time I had to. She is small and light but she is mighty. I can literally pick her up with one hand. I have a small front and back yard and she's perfect size. Batter does take some hours to charge but I managed to cut both front and back and have half the battery life left. Now she did stall and cut off a few times but that's on me because it's my first time cutting grass this year so it was overgrown. This is perfect for the ladies and elderly. I wouldn't recommend for anyone tall tho, I'm 5 foot 7 and would have liked the handle a little longer but other than that great purchase.

So far, very good.
Have had this for 2 months and so far am surprisingly pleased with it. Light weight, perfect for my backyard which is full of fruit trees and narrow pathways. The double charger is a good idea - one plug, both batteries charging at once. Battery lasts a reasonable amount of time. Holding back one * to see if the unit and battery are built to last, or deteriorates or fails over time like many inexpensive products these days :-(

What a Great Lawn Mower!!
After my old gas powered push lawn mower gave out (after I nearly through my shoulder out pulling and pulling on the starter cord to try to get it to go), I decided to take a chance on a battery powered WORX cordless. Now after several mowings I am firmly convinced I made the right decision. This 14" WORX cordless is a champ! I needed a small push mower to do final trim mowing after I hit the yard with my 42" rider. This WORX is just perfect for the final trim, so easy to use around trees, plantings, flower gardens in the yard. It is light as a feather. The two batteries give me enough run time to do all my trimming. My wife (who was uncomfortable with the loud, smelly, noisy gas mower) loves this WORX cordless. The cut with the WORX is excellent, perhaps not quite as crisp as the gas mower, but I have learned that going a bit slower and setting the cut a notch lower results in a nice cut. I like the easy to install catcher for collecting clippings to add to my compost bin. The run time is very well match to my own (77 year old) run time. Assembly from the box was a matter of maybe minutes. The charger for the two batteries works overnight for a full charge. I love the "remaining battery charge" light on the mower. I would highly recommend this WORX 14" cordless mower and give it a FIVE STAR rating for value and performance.

This mower wasn’t assembled correctly.
I ordered this mower from Amazon and received it in record time, which pleased me to no end. I was widowed in February and have been doing my own lawn work. The battery operated mower that I had quit on me. I really liked it because it was lightweight and I didn’t have to deal with gasoline or changing the oil. A neighbor of mine helped me get the mower out of the box and put it together, but after everything we went through to get it together, it wasn’t put together correctly. The lever that changes the height of the cut of the grass did not clear the wheel, so it didn’t budge, and obviously it wasn’t going to work. I didn’t even get a chance to try it out. I really wanted this mower because it was perfect for me. I just needed it for a small backyard and a little bit of trimming. The mower that the box came in had been chewed up around the edges, so it looked like it may have been a returned mower. I don’t know that for sure though. My neighbor helped me box it up and we took it to the UPS store along with the UPS label that I received from Amazon. I’m told that I should get the full refund back, but they will basically have to check it out first. It could take a month before I get a refund. In the meantime, I went to Lowe’s and found a Craftsman battery operated mower that I think will probably be better suited for me anyway. I was so disappointed that this mower didn’t work out for me. I do appreciate the ease in being able to return it.

Great little mower! On my second year now.
After the professional mowing company I've been using for several years raised their prices significantly during the pandemic to better cover their rising gasoline costs, I decide to revolt by buying this little battery mower and mow my average size lawn myself. This thing paid for itself in no time. This is my second year using this mower and it's been a great little machine! I'm a grandma in my 60s and I didn't want to bother with a mower that needed gasoline and oil, spark plugs, etc. or any kind of routine maintenance that I don't have a clue how to do. I was able to unpack and assemble this by myself with zero mechanical knowledge. The two batteries last about 45 minutes to and hour on a charge. I can usually get my whole yard done on a single charge, depending on how long I've let my grass get between mowings. I use the mulching feature each time. I've tried bagging it once and that worked great too. I prefer mulching though. Be sure to inspect your yard prior to mowing and pick up any pinecones or sticks longer than 12 inches before you mow, as accidently running over those with the mower will make a terrible sound and will dull your blade faster. This mower is small in size, but that's just what I need. A male relative of mine made fun of it and said it looks like a child's bubble mower, but I don't care that it's small. It gets the job done well and it's perfect for me and my average size yard. I don't mind that the mower deck is smaller than a lot mowers out there. I can maneuver this mower well and it isn't heavy to push up a sloping yard. The batteries take about 5 hours to recharge. So make sure you plan ahead and charge them well in advance so you're ready to go. This grandma says "get it."

Good mower for very small yards
This is my 2nd try at an electric mower. I had hoped the battery life would improve from my last one I had many years ago. Unfortunately it doesn’t seem to have improved much. This is a great mower for a very small yard such as a townhouse sized yard. Anything larger and forget about it. Pros: it’s very lightweight. This makes cutting very easy and less tiresome. It does not have any drive power, but it’s so light you don’t need it. You can easily speed walk while cutting without and real effort. It is super quiet. No need to worry about disturbing neighbors or wearing ear protection. It’s small so storage is better. Cons: The battery takes about 4 hours to charge from dead. That gives you about 30mins of run time on mildly tall week-grown grass. If you cannot mow your lawn in under 30mins, do not buy. At a minimum you’ll need a second set of batteries to swap and continue. Handle with care. It’s all plastic so don’t abuse it. After my 2nd mow with it, the foam handle has already torn on the edge.. Batteries will eventually be an expense. I don’t foresee these batteries last many years to come. Especially if every time you use it, it’s used to a depleted battery. Over the long run, I believe a gas powered mower may be more cost effective.

Perfect for a small urban yard.
I bought this mower for a couple of reasons. Firstly I wanted to go battery so I could stop trailing a cord from the front yard to the back and secondly because I already had other Worx tools so could swap in other batteries/chargers as needed. Now that I've had a good 4 months with the mower I'm still very happy. I have a relatively small, standard Toronto lot with a small square of grass out front and out back. When using it in 'Eco' mode I'm getting 4/5 cuts of both lawns, so charging the batteries maybe once a month to every 6 weeks. I had to use the 'Turbo' mode once when i left the grass too long and that did drain the batteries in one cut. For me this is fine though - 90% of the time I will be using 'Eco' mode and not having to charge it much. The lightness is definitely a bonus so I can carry it from the front to the back of the house without dropping clippings everywhere. On that note - I have only used the bag once, on the occasion that the grass was left too long. It did fill up fast and kept tripping the power off, but that could also have been down to moisture on the grass. For 90% of the cuts I've left the bag off and the mulch plug in and its worked perfectly, mulching up the grass small enough to avoid clumps. The final big bonus for me is that the handle folds up to the size of the mower. This has allowed me to store it on the bottom shelf of a storage unit instead of having to lean up against the inside of the garage like my old mower. Its not really much of a pain to loosen/tighten the four bolts every use as long as you make sure the cable to the handle does not get caught/kinked. Overall its done exactly what I needed it to with no complaints. I wouldn't recommend it if you have a larger (or even medium sized) lawn as its a smaller blade diameter and the battery won't last as long. But if you live in a city with a small lawn and little storage space its perfect.

Works well. No string trimmer needed after mowing
I have a 20 inch mower which is harder to manoeuvre as my yard has plenty of obstacles like trees, flower beds and rose bushes. I got this 14 inch because it's smaller and in theory more agile. The good: (1) Relatively lightweight. Easy to put in shed and take out. (2) Small enough to manoeuvre really well close to trees, walls, flower beds, etc. No string trimming needed, the mower gets close enough. (3) Seems very well built. Doesn't feel cheap. (4) Cuts very well. I see no stray grass, everything is the same height after mowing. (5) Adjusts the blade speed depending on thicker or thinner grass. (6) Mulches really well. The muclhes grass is shredded very thinly. Does a good job muclhing maple tree leaves as well. The not so good: (1) On a 2000 square foot lawn, not particularly thick, batteries are done right around the time I finish. It's advertised as 5000 square feet... Hard to believe it could do that much. (2) Batteries charge very slowly. Around 3-4 hours using the supplies charger. (3) The handles can be folded for storage, but they're not the quickest. You have to unscrew 4 bolts completely. No tools needed. But it's still more complicated than just having a couple of clamps to release and relock the handles. With that said, most 13-14 inch mowers are similar. It's not like the competition does something much better. Overall, I'm satisfied. It's not perfect, but it works very well.
