Could be working
Not sure if this is completely working but it did not kill my plants, they are actually still thriving. Next application, I will use this on one flower but not on an identical one to see if it is the spray that is helping. But so far I am pleased. Here in Texas we need anything to help retain moisture. Worth giving this a try.

Wilt-Pruf® Drought Guard and Anti-Transpirant Spray - Plant Drought Protector - Conserves Moisture
I use this product in my garden to help make cuttings of landscape plants and roses - it helps me to successfully increase the number of plants I have for free, without having to invest in extra equipment. Before making my cuttings, I water the mother plant well. Next, I spray the source plant in the area I will be taking the cutting with Wiilt-Pruf, then I lef it dry. This will help the cutting retain its current moisture level. Then, I make a 5-6 inch cutting at the end of a branch, just under a leaf node, dip the cut end into rooting powder and set it into a seed-starting mix or pot of sand. The cutting is set in a sheltered place with bottom heat (such as on a heat mat near my seedlings). Because I've used Wilt-Pruf, there is no need to cover the cuttings with plastic to keep them from drying out. This method usually results in my cuttings producing roots within 3-4 weeks and increases my success rate. When it comes time to pot up my new rooted cuttings, I spray them with Wilt-Pruf again to help them ease through the transition into the garden without losing excess moisture through transpiration.I have also used Wilt-Pruf to spray vegetables and herbs (like zucchini and basil) to keep them from wilting when I transplant them on a hot day and have found that it helps to keep them from wilting after a transplanting session. And I have used Wilt-Pruf on my roses just before a dry wind storm to help them survive with less wind damage.I like that the Wilt-Pruf comes in an easy to use sprayer ready to be used and that it's organic so I don't have to worry about using harsh and un-friendly chemical in my garden. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who enjoys gardening - there are so many ways to use it and I'm always finding more!

helpful
I have used other Wilt-Pruf products in the past and found them to be pretty effective, so thought I would try this one as well. Our summer has been more mild so far than the summers elsewhere in the country so I haven't been able to fully test this, though we did have one blast of very hot--and as always, very dry--weather. I sprayed my most vulnerable plants, the ones in pots on porch and patio, when I knew the heat would be coming, and they all survived better than I feared they would. So, this seems to be working, and I'll continue to use it.

Really Works!
I wanted to wait before reviewing this one, so I had time to run a test. The plants that I have sprayed this on have flourished beyond the ones that are surviving without it. For context, I live in high desert with frequent triple digit heat, but only water once a day in the mornings, with an occasional missed morning. Many plants perish in the summer sun, so saying the plants are flourishing from the assistance of this product is a high testimony to the quality of product. It really works!

I think it is working?
We had a severe heat wave earlier this summer, and a bunch of the flowering plants in my garden got scorched, so I got the Wilt-Pruf Drought Guard in hopes that it will save my plants from the next heat wave. I have 2 mandevillas by the backyard gate that get full sun, so I sprayed the Wilt-Pruf on one to see if it is better protected than the other. So far, both plants are holding up to the heat pretty well, so I can't tell if the spray is really doing anything. I will update at the end of the summer to see if I could notice any discernable protection.I will say that the sprayer itself is kind of junky. It takes many, many pumps to get the spray nozzle to work.

Seems to work!
It looks to be working. It’s a good spray bottle but comes out white so it looks a little weird in my plants. Seems to be safe on fruits and veggies
