Bought this as we had blackish mould spots on the white lining of our hot tub. It had been stored for many months. Some spots were darker than others. This was so easy to use. The gel stayed in place even though it was on the inside and did not slide down. First time if use it removed the lighter spots and then I replied and it vastly reduced the darker spots making them almost invisible. I really cannot believe how fantastic this gel is. So easy to use and once cleaned off there is no smell left.

Honestly I was initially very skeptical of products such as this as I’ve tried ‘miracle cleaning’ products before which have never lived up to the hype and results they portray. However this stuff works an absolute treat on black mould build up in the house, I’ve now used it on: Bathroom grout Silicone sealant around windows Rubber wash machine seals And on all of them they’ve genuinely come up looking like new without the need for any scrubbing or similar. Just had to put the gel on as instructed and leave for a few hours, then when you remove it the surface is good as new. I testing in small patches on all the types of material first to check it wouldn’t cause damage or leave residue etc then once it was fine went ahead with the main application. Have been very pleased with the results and will be getting more, the only thing I would say is if you have a lot of surfaces to treat you’ll need more than just the one small bottle. Annoyingly I didn’t think to take photos before and after otherwise I would have added them on.

Does the job well but after 2 applications it’s actually no better than my usual mould and stain remover. I’d buy again but only if on sale or special offer.

Worked better than expected! This is what it looked like when we moved into our rented home. We've tried so many different sprays and nothing would budge it and we didn't want to go to the hassle of re grouting. It's easy to apply but it's also very easy to put too much. It does leave a residue so I highly recommend gloves as it says on the box. Scent is okay, not too overpowering but noticeable. We left it on for the maximum time. It's not completely gone as I think some of the mold is behind the grouting but it's definitely value for money.

We have been struggling with black mould in the corners of our shower and it was embedded in the grout and sealent. I applied this and left it for only 3 hours before removing and could see a major difference already! The mouldy patches had decreased and lightened and almost completely gone! I had literally tried everything and this is the first thing I have found that actually works so I had to leave a review! So happy that our bathroom looks chic again, thank you!

Exellent mould remover. Does what it says. Shake the bottle before use. Thick gel looks like clear jelly doesn't drip stays in groves of washing machine seal. You must wait at least 4 hrs before removing it. I waited 5hrs. Wipes away easily seal appears like new. Smells a bit bleachy but not overpowering. Ran the machine after at 90⁰C with the used cloths in the drum and a washing pod. Cloths clean and no residue in the machine. Did a dark wash thereafter no evidence of bleach ever having been in machine clothes all fine. Recommend

That is one fantastic product. Removed all the mould I had on the bathroom and kitchen caulk. Appearance is clear and leaves no residue. Does not carry a scent but acta very quickly on the mould and stains. True value for money.

Our shower is large annd deep and mold grows on the left corners where the shower head is because air circulation is bad. We have had a mold problem for years due to several showers being taken in there every day, the mold could never dry out. I tried bleach, hydrogen peroxide, every type of toxic mold cleaner and it never went away. But it was nasty! So I tried this stuff. First of all, I followed directions to a t! I placed a fan in my shower to really really dry it out. I took the shower brush and scrubbed the dry mold. Then I cleaned it. I dried the whole shower with a towel and let the fan dry it out fully. Then I put on gloves, a mask (you’ll need it- it smells like chlorine!) and eye protectant (just in case, the gel doesn’t splash but there were times when I was squeezing out the bottle that it “farted” and I was glad I was wearing eye gear). The bottle comes with a nozzle that allows you to target specific areas. There is a cap on the nozzle you have to take off. You also have to open the bottle- it’s a foil cover you peel back. Then you point the nozzle at the mold and gently squeeze for the gel to come out. The only trick is not to “scrape” the gel with the tip while squeezing it out- otherwise it moves to the side of the grout and hollows out where you actually want it to go. It took some trial and error to master just having the tip hover above the grout line and not actually touch it, but when I got it, it was pretty easy!!! Then I went to town following all the horrid grout lines. And there were a lot. I’m talking subway tile. I did not have enough of the gel to do the whole thing, but holy cow! You can see where I didn’t put it!!!! I would tap the bottle upside down to make the gel move to the nozzle to make squeezing easier. I used the entire bottle. After I put the gel on, I let it sit for almost 5 hours. It was amazing. The mold was gone underneath the gel. I took a damp cloth and wiped it and the gel had the consistency of dried candle wax and just fell to the floor. I gathered it up and put it in a trash bag. Then I cleaned my shower and let it dry fully overnight. After the gel dries it still smells like chlorine, but after throwing it away there was no remaining smell. I am impressed!!! You can see the areas that I put the gel so clearly, it looks like new tile. Some tips: 1. dry the shower fully!!!!! If the mold is wet, it won’t work. 2. Don’t let it come in contact with clothes! I had a blob fall on my sweats and I rinsed it with water but it left a little bleached spot. 3. Wear eye gear and disposable gloves. The bottle will fart. 4. When I picked up the dried gel, I just held it in my hand and slipped off my glove inside out, trapping it in my glove and creating a little pocket for it to be easily put in a trash bag. 5. Even the gel can stain! I dropped a dried gel in my rug and it left a tiny bleach mark. 6. Be generous with the gel. The areas I didn’t put a lot or did thin lines had some mold spots that did not fully erase. 7. Let the gel sit for longer than you think. I had black slimy mold and I left it there for almost 5 hours. It’s gone!!!! 8. Trust me. Buy at least 2 bottles. You wont regret it. All in all I am so happy to find this product and am already buying more to finish the grout lines. 100% effective.

pros and cons as well as overall rating at the end I picked up the ACTIVE Mold Stain Remover Gel because I had a few stubborn spots in the shower and around the window frame that just wouldn't budge. After using it, I can honestly say this stuff feels like witchcraft. The gel consistency is perfect - thick enough to stay exactly where you put it, even on vertical surfaces, without dripping everywhere. I applied a thin layer over the mold stains, let it sit, and came back about an hour later. The stains were already fading, and after a quick wipe, they were completely gone. No scrubbing, no harsh chemical smell, no effort. It's almost unsettling how easily it works compared to traditional cleaners. On silicone caulking, it performed even better. Those deep, dark mold lines that usually require scraping or replacing the caulk lifted right out. The gel penetrates without damaging the material, which is a huge plus. I also tried it on a few outdoor spots like siding and a small patch on the deck and it worked just as well. The controlled application makes it ideal for targeted cleaning instead of soaking everything with liquid bleach. The only downside is that you do need patience. It's not an instant cleaner it needs time to sit and work its magic but then again once applyed you just leave it and come back to it. Because it's a gel, you go through the bottle faster if you're covering larger areas. Still, for stubborn mold stains, this is easily one of the most effective products I've ever used. It genuinely feels like cheating. I genuinely had almost no faith in this product when I ordered it. I mainly decided to give it a shot because it was cheap, so I figured I didn’t have much to lose. I was completely surprised by how well it worked. The mold stains I was dealing with came off far better than I expected, and the results were noticeable quickly. For the price, this stuff seriously exceeded my expectations. It left no residue or chemical scent. I used it to specifications. Well. I left it on overnight. Definitely one of those rare inexpensive products that actually does what it says. I’d absolutely buy it again. I didn’t take before pics because it was so bad I didn’t think it would work. All the grout was black before. And it looks great now.
