Smooth gliding
These wheels work so much better than the plastic wheels that come with office chairs. They're easy to install and remove if needed. These wheels roll across the floor without "catching." You can change the direction of your rolling without any issues or hesitation in the wheels. Such a great, functional idea.

New favorite wheels
Been using for a couple weeks now, previously had rollerblade style wheels on a chair mat over carpet and they would constantly refuse to change directing with any weight on the chair. These wheels roll great and dont have the problem of direction changes. No complaints as they combine the benefits of stock wheel profile with the smoothness of bigger wheels.

Very good quality
I have an expensive office chair and for years it was on carpet. The bearings started falling out and the wheels were full of carpet fiber. I couldn’t even get the wheels off. I thought since I couldn’t get them off that it was all one piece. A friend came and was able to get one wheel off. I found these wheels and they came the next day. I was able to get all the old wheels off and put these on and they are worth the money. I also got rid of the carpet. I totally would recommend these wheels if you have an office chair that you like and want to keep, but need new wheels.

Fluid and buttery, with considerations.
These are great replacement wheels, but I will issue others a warning. If you are used to parallel wheels that help "lock" (not literally) you into a position you like to retain, just know these are constantly going to move on you. In hindsight, I should have bought the other style. That said, these look and feel like they will last a lifetime. I would highly recommend these for carpet, but not so much for hard flooring.

So good that they're annoying and a pain to use
These are amazing wheels. They roll smoothly and silently over many surfaces. I have a set for my chair at home on wood flooring and carpet as well as a set for my chair at work on 5" clay tiles. However, they roll TOO smoothly. Using these wheels is like setting your chair on ice. The chair moves when you don't want it to. Adjust your position, your chair moves. Stand up from your chair, and it practically shoots away behind you. God forbid you use a foot rest or like to sit with a leg folded against your desk like I do. Since these wheels negate so much friction, trying to get comfortable just pushes my chair away from my desk. I am constantly having to fight these wheels to get my chair to just sit still. The design of the wheels is also a pinch hazard. Several times now these wheels have sucked the skin of my foot/toes in between the wheel and its shroud. I love these wheels, but they're so good that they're annoying; and thus drove me to switch back to my regular chair wheels. I'm not a fan of regular chair wheels, but at least they don't give my chair a mind of its own.

Great for use on rugs
I started working from home and didn't want to buy one of those ugly plastic mats to protect my rug. These wheels work perfectly as an alternative. They move much more smoothly than standard wheels and also look nicer. They don't catch on my woven rug at all either.

i got rid of a desk rug all together und
nice und soft. soft to the point that if it has a lot of weight for one point for long time it creates an indentation in a ball. made in china though.

Hot wheels !
Great wheels. Super quiet. No vibrations (am in an apartment). I took the 2 inch round version because i did not want to have to adjust/compensate my seat height piston under my chair, as the original plastic wheels were 2in. I have laminate floors, and the only sound these wheels make is one little squeak (silicone on laminate floor type of squeak, right ?) on initial movement (were they spin around and align to your trajectory, then, silencio). And for glide, oh they glide, seamlessly, effortlessly, across my whole floor. Would recommend.

Silencieuses et sécuritaires pour le plancher!
Roulettes parfaitement silencieuses, beau look! avec le style ancien de ma chaise noir et chrome. Elle roule facilement. Je vous les recommande! 10/10

Great rubber circular wheels for office chair.
These are working great so far. Since they are rubber, they don't leave marks, and they are very quiet. I picked the round ball type. I don't know if those are better than the other types or not.

Highly recommended.
I installed them on my Herman Miller Aeron chair. Other than a marginal loss of height these are an upgrade replacement at a fraction of the Herman Miller price for OEM castors. When compared to the OEM Miller castors these replacements are built better and make the chair more maneuverable. I chose the ball rollers because they are rated for a heavier load which I assumed means they are more durable. We will see. To replace the chair would be close to $2k and even OEM Miller castors are between $30 and $60 a piece. Even if I have to replace these every year (for some durability reason that may raise its head), they make more sense than either a new chair or OEM castors. Brilliant product.

Extremely smooth roll! Maybe a little TOO smooth!
Extremely smooth roll! Maybe a little TOO smooth as now the chair constantly wants to pull me towards the slope of the floor, into the left side of my desk. So word of warning: If you have sloped floors, you WILL travel!
