Coavas Reeded Glass Window Privacy Film, 3D Decorative Frosted Window Clings for Bathroom & Home, Day and Night Privacy, Peel & Stick Adhesive Film, (17.5x78.7 inch)

Purchased this for the side-light windows next to our front door. Before, anyone coming to the door could look directly in to the house which was not great! We did not want blinds or a curtain or anything like that and found this reeded film to be the perfect solution. I used a piece of masonite (you could use cardboard or whatever) to make a cutting template that was just slightly smaller than the glass itself and used that to pre-cut all the pieces of film BEFORE applying them which worked out great and made the job much easier. Because of the small size of the windows, it would have been impossible to cut the film oversize and then try to trim during the install. With the film in place, you can still see someone outside the door but the image is very distorted which is perfect. We did leave the top and bottom windows uncovered as unless you are 7+ feet tall or laying on the ground you cannot see into the house. We received a lot of compliments from the neighbors who were also looking for a solution and now they have one. Great product, easy to install using a template and looks great.

My apartment building doesn't allow sticky film but I live on the first floor and I was tired of making accidental eye contact with strangers on the street. This still lets in a lot of light but provides a little more privacy. During the day you can't really see into my apartment at all, but at night when the lights are on inside, this doesn't do much. Still, I am happy with my purchase and happy that it came in a wide enough roll for my windows! I can tell it will peel off easily if/when I move out. UPDATE: 2 years later and the static cling still works. Beware though, if you have pets, any floating hairs that get stuck on the clingy side while applying will be impossible to get off without causing more issues. A few dog hairs ended up between my film and the window, and trying to get them off after I noticed only made it worse and caused more debris to stick to the clingy side. However, I was able to peel back and reapply the film itself without any problem.

This film is not easy to work with having sticky stuff on backside makes it ridiculous to get all the bubbles out. The kind that uses static cling is a much better choice. After spending about half an hour trying to get the bubbles out I took it off and threw it away. The more you work with it the worse it gets. A waste of twenty dollars

I had ordered similar film from another site, but the size was limited. This was the same, but available in much better sizes. They proactively reached out to me all along the order. The only negative is that there was a layer of Amazon wrapping over the roll and the tube was dinged and dirty on the edges from that. i had to cut the edges off to get a clean edge. Cutting this particular pattern is very hard, so was not happy about that part. But, all said, it looks GREAT and I would order from this dealer again.

Like other reviewers, we did notice that it was challenging to apply. The biggest surprise was the fact that it was more transparent than we anticipated. It is thinner than the typical window adhesive vinyl and more sticky so you really have to put it in the right spot to start with or you will end up raising your own blood pressure.

Made this purchase since my front door is all glass and wanted some type of privacy without compromising the light. I did find it a little hard to get all the bubbles out so that was the only issue I encountered. So just plan on spending a little extra time on that a I’m sure you will love it. It was easy to cut and place and was reasonably priced.

I used this on my back door for privacy. It was very easy to use and turned out great. Make sure you wet the window really well when putting it on and also use a sharp knife so it cuts smoothly. You will not be able to see out so make sure that's what you're looking for. I would purchase again from this company.

Looked so good to start, but came off in about 48 hours. Not sure if it had something to do with it, but seemed to come loose the second the weather changed. It dropped to be very cold overnight and the film peeled off.

Great addition to our pantry cabinet. Pretty easy to install, use plenty of water on the glass and film when applying. I recommend the packaging to include two or even three stickers to help remove adhesive backing. The seller provided a follow up email after purchase with more information on how to install.
