These are pretty good and really useful
Review of L298N Motor Driver Dual H Bridge Chip Controller Board ModuleIf you're venturing into the world of DIY electronics, particularly projects involving motors, the L298N Motor Driver Dual H Bridge Chip Controller Board Module is an excellent choice. This product comes in a convenient pack of two, making it even more appealing for projects that require driving multiple motors, such as robotic cars or automated systems.PerformanceThe L298N motor driver offers reliable performance for both DC motors and stepper motors, allowing for versatile applications. I've used these modules in several projects with an Arduino UNO and MEGA, and they consistently deliver robust current handling capacity, making them capable of driving motors up to 2A per channel. This means you can run most small to medium-sized motors without any issues.Ease of UseSetting up the L298N is straightforward, thanks to its clear pin assignments and compatibility with popular microcontrollers like the Arduino UNO and Mega2560. The module can handle both forward and reverse motor control, as well as speed control through PWM signal, which is essential for many robotics and automation applications. The onboard LED indicators are a helpful touch, providing visual feedback that the module is powered and operational.Value for MoneyAt its price point, the L298N is a steal. You get two units for a low cost, making it a fantastic bargain for hobbyists and students alike. The board is built fairly well, and while it’s not the most compact design out there, the robust build quality ensures that it can handle repeated use in experimental applications.ConsiderationsOne important aspect to be aware of is that the L298N does generate a fair amount of heat, especially under heavier loads. This can lead to thermal shutdown if the module is pushed beyond its limits. To mitigate this, consider adding a heat sink, especially during prolonged use. Additionally, keep in mind that the efficiency isn’t the best compared to newer motor drivers, so if you're looking for power optimization in high-performance applications, you might want to explore other options.ConclusionOverall, the L298N Motor Driver Dual H Bridge Chip Controller Board Module is a fantastic tool for DIY enthusiasts looking to explore motor control. Its performance, ease of use, and price make it an excellent entry point for anyone interested in robotics or automating their projects. Whether you’re building a smart car or just experimenting with motors, these modules will serve you well. Highly recommended!

Work great, good quality
I use these to control linear actuators for escape room puzzles and they work great. Easy to setup and use, and there's tons of diagrams and wiring setups online to find.

Great, high-quality motor drivers
Throw an analog and a digital output from a microcontroller at this device, give it some power, and you've got a MCU-controlled motor. Forward/Reverse, PWM adjustment of speed, and ability to "lock out" the motor and keep it in neutral - this is a great device.

DRIVER D/C DRIVER MODULE...
Made to be compatible with the Arduino series of controller hardware and of course the Arduino IDE library. This is a DC Stepper Module DUAL H Bridge Chip board. I'm still new to Arduino as a hobbyist, so don't expect an expert course here. I am enjoying what I'm discovering, and finding that they deliver on every little experiment or ATTEMPT at a project I put together. A real good find, this one...

Function well, poor assembly
It works but it looks like it was soldered in a rush. Some of the pins are soldered haphazardly at an angle and not flush with the PCB.

Great quality
Every facet of these boards was spot on. In my experience there is usually one area of assembly that's cheaply made, but on the pair of these that I recieved, I couldn't find a poor connection or incomplete solder anywhere.Tested for continuity and output and everything read exactly.as I expected/gave them.Great value for the price in my opinion.

Solid clones
I tried these out with some steppers and an Arduino Uno. These are not my first L298N boards. They're simple to use, silkscreen is somewhat difficult to read but not really that important. There's a ton of documentation available for these online, lots of guides explaining how to hook these up with example code.

Flawless
Arrived securely and well packed. I looked over the boards and there were not any obvious flaws. I tested them connected to a nodeMCU module with generic 28BYJ-48 stepper motors. The boards did all required functions with no issues. Couldn't be happier with the boards.!
