Royal King Heavy Duty Off Billet Black

I'd give it 3.75 stars if I could, for the price it is nice, but it is very stiff and difficult to put the tongue cinch thru the holes. I never remove my cinch from the saddle because it's difficult to take on and off. I bought it because the nylon one that came with my saddle was pretty cheap, it was a good price for a leather off billet and black off billets are not as easy to find, especially in this price range. So overall I am happy with it but I wish it wasn't so stiff and difficult to attach my cinch to.

This billet is basically plastic. I know you're probably thinking "She's a bit dramatic" nope, not at all. I'm tempted to roast it over an open flame to see if it melts like plastic or singes like leather... My bet is it will melt. You are probably thinking that I am too picky, or hey, its cheap, quit complaining. See the problem here is more than just "cheap". The holes don't line up with each other, the damn thing is so stiff that even if you are by some miracle able to attach your cinch through the mismatched holes, good luck getting it through the keeper. I wouldn't trust it to actually hold, for more than a ride or two. It also smells... oddly like gasoline? Either way, if you are thinking of still buying this horrible billet, just don't. Its not worth it. SERIOUSLY!!!!

What an awesome product. Well made and very sturdy. Comfortable for my Kentucky Mountain Horse, leaving no pinch. Would buy again when and if I need another off billet. Thank you Royal King.

Hard to adjust cinch lengths, but if used on same horse should be very sturdy and safe.
