Manual alkalinity tests are a pain the butt, and are so easy to mess up and get inaccurate results. This Hanna checker is worth the buy. Testing is so easy and fast, and you can rely on the results.

Alk is the most important parameter in you saltwater asking with salinity. Don't bother with other test kits and trying to figure out the numbers. An accurate and digital read out is what you want.
