These mats are a talking point when people see these on my table, these are truly beautiful and it's great to have something different. They were very promptly delivered and really well packaged, you'll definitely be impressed for sure.

This set of place mats, arrived well packaged and in a timely fashion, however, they would be better packed flat instead of folded, mine are still creased down the middle. They look lovely but are not practical for daily use. Mine arrived with one of the elephant strips covered in glue on the surface, look at the picture to see, I can put my finger on it and lift the mat up, it is so sticky. I can't remove the glue. Because these are glued together you can't wipe with a very wet cloth, some of the strips are not on straight and are starting to lift away, If I want to be picky. You do have to handle them with kid gloves. I have contacted the manufacturer/suppliers but not had a reply on how to remove the glue from the surface. I do like the look of them. Would have been nice to have had a reply.

These mats are even nicer in reality than they look on the Amazon advert.Will only use them for best as they are too nice but not robust enough for everyday.I just wish though that the coasters, beautifully packaged and presented as they are, weren`t held in place with Sellotape because when trying to separate them the glue comes off the Sellotape and stays on the coaster and is not easy to remove, just a suggestion.

Beautiful placemats and coasters! However, the instructions inside says only to wipe with a dry cloth, whereas in the Amazon description it says it can be wiped with a damp cloth. These placemats are definitely made with reed and I wouldn’t want to drop any foods/liquids on them. Might be best to display them as decorative items or only use them when the Queen or Pope come round for dinner!

These are lovely place mats and coasters. 4 of each. I wouldn't use them for everyday use because there is no hard backing on them, but for dinner parties and such they wil llook lovely on the table. I didn't realize when I ordered them they were from the same company that I had ordered a tissue box holder and they are the same colour, so they all look nice together. Very good company, good prices and very quick delivery.

I had changed the décor of my kitchen to red, black and white, with neutral pale frosted grey walls. The table and chairs are very glossy black lacquer, with a rich red tablecloth folded lengthways and draped over the middle of the table. The place mats are on the red tablecloth in the middle and add a very luxurious touch bringing the colours together. When a very wealthy friend from Cheshire saw this his jaw dropped and he said I should be an interior designer! Thank you again for a beautiful product.

Sadly the package only had the placemats - the cellophane package was split or cut along one side and the coasters were missing. Shame because these are exactly what we wanted. We only ordered one set to see if they were OK (having seen the variety of other reviews) but they were lovely and we want 3 sets but we are now reluctant to order more in case the same happens. We have returned the placemats as that seems to be the only option as there's no-one we can speak with to see if the coasters could be sent on. Is there anywhere else we can buy these from where we can ensure that coasters and placemats will be sent together?

Lovely reed place mats, well made and nicely finished. We found though that the mats moved around on the table as they are quite smooth. If you have a natural non varnished wood table they will be fine, and of course if you use a table cloth there won't be any issues. But we found there just wasn't the friction between the mat and the table to make them usable. I can't mark them down too much though though as they are so nicely made.
