Made a good choice purchasing this laptop.
This laptop is faster than a greased pig trying to get out of the kitchen. The Hi-Speed USB-C Thunderbolt ports most excellent. Great screen resolution and the touch screen is welcome. It's small and light weight. This laptop will fit in your briefcase.I've had this for 3 or 4 months now and this unit has not balked at anything I've asked it to do because of a lack of resources. It's just plain fast.

Erratic, chaotic, or malfunctions, and eventual dies a sudden death prematurely.
this product should get not even a single star. I would not recommend this computer to anyone. it has brought me nothing but disappointment. it gets burning hot, crashes, more than 10 times a day, and then it says cannot find bootable disk. It is ridiculously disappointing. It is slow, and sluggish. Everything that could go wrong with this computer has happened to it. The seller is unreachable. And I won't blame them, why should they be responsible after making a sale. There is no accountability. HP is unhelpful. This company has the most useless tech support in the industry. As for Amazon, i reserve my comments.

DO NOT BUY (OR DO BUSINESS WITH PCONLINE US)
Laptop broke within 7 months. HP will not warranty as it was "modified by seller" (PCOnline US). Seller unresponsive. Amazon will not help. Absolutelly horrible experience and garbage product.

Quirky.... Just quirky
Here's the story. I'm primarily a unix user, but I occasionally need a windows laptop for one purpose or another. My old one finally died after just over 10 years. The machine I had just purchased for my wife had shot up in price by 500, so this seemed like a reasonably priced alternative. Unpacked the machine, and I finally gave up trying to remove all of the bloatware, and reinstalled windows 11 fresh. That gave me the home version of Win 11, so I had to call MSoft to get that fixed. What a pain. Finally, setting it up, getting all that I need installed. I am not pleased with the keyboard. There's just not enough throw or feedback. Also, THERE"S NO INSERT KEY. How do you live in a GUI world without an insert key (again, I'm primarily a unix user)? I reprogrammed the right CTRL key to act as insert, but it's still a pain. Also, there is no num pad, even num locked. Seriously, the keyboard is the primary pain point of this machine.Performance seems reasonable, I have no faith in its durability (I have high standards, clearly), but as long as it lasts the performance ought also. Finally, it feels cheap. Not like a 'business' machine. Perhaps I'm in the wrong demographic for the machine, but, well, it will be fine. It's OK.There's no insert key. I'm primarily a unix guy, and well, that's an unnoticed disadvantage. Honestly, the machine except for the keyboard is a strong OK. The amount of garbage

Nice. Keys difficult to see.
Nice. It's working just fine! One problem. The letters on the keyboard are light grey and difficult to see.

Warranty is void
Stay away from this pc sold by cardinal. When they increased the ram from 32 to 64 they voided the warranty from hp. Had to return mine when hp tech support stated that when the increase from 32 to 64 was beyond the parameters that hp would allow.
