No power loss 64tb drive perfect
Just what I was looking for a proper 6tb drive. And it can be connected to your phone. With no power loss....

Good TB/£ ratio
Never had a problem with these WD drives. Reliable back up gear. Old drives still function perfectly on the rare occasion they are needed. Currently paired to a Mac Studio M4 Max for dumping raw photo and video material. Would buy again.

Great storage for the price
Works great but durability is obviously an unknown so cannot award 5 stars for any product like this where only time will tell.

Issues
I purchased this 6tb unit to back up all of data including files and photos. It took over 24 hours to upload all of the 3.5 Tb. Afterwards I tried viewing the data on the same iMac and my MacBook Pro. Neither machines would read the data. I contacted Western Digital. After checking with me and what I could see they could not help apart from suggesting that I remove all the data and reformat again and then reload. I did as instructed and this time added just 200gb as a test, but unfortunately the issue did not resolve itself and the two units would not read the drive again. Amazon were great and agreed to refund fully.

Huge 6TB capacity
Used this HDD to back up several years of Video Camera recordings. Very pleased so far. It came pre-formatted in ExFAT, but I reformatted to NTFS before use, as I believe that to have better security.

2.5inches! Don't let that detail escape you!
For a while now 5tb, has been the limit of 2.5 he's. They are priced the same as this 6tb enclosure. No-one else makes a 6tb 2.5 hdd... and for the price, it's great value. If you have a device or drive bay that uses 2.5 drives and SSD speeds aren't an issue, then this is fantastic value. Personally I will be removing a couple of these from the case and putting them in my server or NAS using Raid 0 or 1 and the speeds will be decent enough, easily 300-400MB/s. A lot of decent storage when drive space is limited without paying SSD prices. It also possible to get a USB raid enclosure if you need something portable and still have the benefits of linking the drives

Krånglig att sätta upp
Genom att den dels ska fungera för både Mac och Windows tillsammans med ett krångligt lösenordsskydd blev installationen jobbig. Jag ville ha den utan lösenord för en "stationär" Mac vilket kanske är ovanligt. Löste det genom att helt formatera om hårddisken och då försvann "viruset" som deras lösenordsskydd skapade. Nu fungerar den som jag vill ha den.
