My Alabaster Box: Broken for a Purpose

This book was an emotional roller coaster for me. If you think think that you can't make it through whatever you're dealing with then read this book. It shows that no matter what, you can overcome it. The strength that is shown in this book is inspiring. I know the author of this book. She is an incredible woman and a true Christian. She is a true fighter for the Lord!

What a powerful book and message. Read it all in one sitting-could not put it down. Cannot express enough how incredibly powerful the authors message of grace and forgiveness is. HIGHLY recommend.

This book is amazing. I will suggest it to everyone that I know. Insane what people go through in the same Parish that I grew up in and I would have ever thought.

It was quite a compelling story. My heart hurt for the young girl. Very well told story, took some strength to go public. Maybe it will help someone else.

This depth of hurt by this author and the depth of healing by Christ is truly amazing in this book.

This is a powerful littile book. I know the author. We have mutual family members. I don't see her often, but occasionally at family gatherings. She has always impressed me to have such a pleasant personality. It was easy to see that she was a genuine, happy caring person. I have never been around her when she didn't have a smile and a kind word to share. I knew that she had a terrible childhood. After reading her book, saying she had a terrible childhood is an understatement. She was in a living hell for her entire childhood. After reading her book, I am no longer just impressed by her personality. I am in awe. I am amazed that she broke out of this hell to find happiness and make a beautiful family life for herself. She is a woman that is a natural nurturer, even though she had very little nurturing growing up. That's what I call a true heroine. She is Khaleesi, perfect and unburned from the flame. (Okay, I like GOT) I always liked her, but now I feel love for her and bravery.
