The media could not be loaded. Remington is a brand that has been around for as long as I can remember and has a certain reputation for quality products. I do not feel this particular trimmer lives up to that reputation, and for the cost of £37.99, I think it is overpriced.First the good points.The packaging is all recyclable, with the only bit of plastic being the tie around the USB cable.The trimmer cuts well and the two comb guards clip on securely.With a 40 minute run time, that is more than enough to easily get a good 2-3 uses out or it for general grooming.The nose/ear trimmer works well and cuts rather than pulls the hairs unlike some others I have tried.The adjustable guard is a good idea to reduce the number of comb guards needed. It locks into place so there is very little chance of it moving whilst you are using the trimmer.Now the bad points.The packaging is stupidly big for what is inside the box, and could easily be a third of the size thereby reducing the volume the item takes up in delivery lorries etc.The whole trimmer and all the attachments feel really cheap and plasticky. It is almost too light to give any sense of robustness.The adjustable guard is not pleasant to use. Sliding it up and down with the button pressed results in a stiff, notchy feeling that just isn't nice.The charge time of 16 hours is just ridiculous. In this day and age of fast charging and USB-C on almost everything, this is excessive.The claim this is a 10-in-1 grooming kit is tenuous to say the least. I could easily claim it to be 11-in-1 and use it to trim the dog, so this is just a marketing ploy. It's a trimmer with 2 heads and 3 attachment, plain and simple.Overall it's ok and does the job, but if you want something that feels well built and will last, I doubt this trimmer is for you.

This grooming set comes with 5 attachments that make it easy to trim my beard, hair, and even take care of nose and ear hair. The self-sharpening blades work well and give a clean cut every time. It’s also waterproof, so I can use it in the shower, which is really convenient. But this set feel cheap and plasticky.

This multi-grooming kit has been a handy addition to my husband’s routine. He really appreciates the versatility of the attachments, especially for trimming his beard, hair, and nose. The self-sharpening blades are smooth, and the comb attachments work well for adjusting lengths. However, the runtime of 40 minutes seems a bit short, especially when he’s using it for more than just a quick trim. The USB charging is convenient, but the long charge time can be a bit frustrating. Overall, it’s a practical set for basic grooming needs, though a longer battery life would make it perfect.

I’ve used several of these types of trimmer, and while this does the job, others have done it much better and this fits squarely into the cheap and cheerful bracket. There's two trimmer heads, one for nose, ears and eyebrows, one for everywhere else, the latter accompanied by one adjustable and two fixed guide combs. The standard USB charging gives enough charge for you to trim pretty much everything on a single charge, but overall results are merely ok, compared to my current unit. It’s decent for the price, but there’s better available.

My husband uses this excellent trimmer every 1-2 weeks to trim the smaller areas of hair on his head eg sideburns, ears and nose. (He doesn’t use it for his head as he has a trusty old trimmer for that!)He thinks that fact that it is rechargeable is a bonus and he can’t remember the last time he had to charge it, saying that it must hold a decent charge for that to be the case. Recommended.

Remington is a well known brand that’s been around for a long time so we were looking forward to receiving this grooming kit.First off, I felt there was way too much packaging for what’s inside the box. Fortunately though, it is all cardboard and therefore recyclable.The shaver comes with several plastic attachments although they do feel a little bit of the cheaper side. That said, the shaver works well. My partner uses it for shaving mainly his chest and back and has been able to get a close shave without any nicks or discomfort.The battery life is pretty good. My partner only needs to use it for a couple of minutes at a time so we haven’t charged it once yet in the few weeks since receiving it.I would have liked to have seen a storage bag included to keep the shaver organised with all of its attachments.Overall though, I’m happy to recommend this shaver. 😊
