For some reason cats love the taste of the original cord that comes with the headphones. This replacement cord sounds very close to the original one. the only reason it did not get a 5 was because there is a strange rattle coming from the volume up/down control. other than that, it is a worthy replacement and worth the price. Total piece of garbage. Look at who the seller is..."Beat" not "Beats" not "Beats by Dre" not "Apple." Classic rip off from China that falls apart before you can even use it. I know that Beats aren't the best or sturdiest of headphones but this product is flimsy and has absolutely no durability. Unless you plan on super gluing the pieces together yourself just so that you can sit (without moving) on your couch an listen to music, I would not recommend buying this product. Unless you want your AUX cable to rattle as you walk down the street while you hold the control talk together with one hand, then I don't recommend you buy this product. This is just a cheap shot at trying to sell a piece of garbage product for a good price compared to what it costs in stores to buy the actual Apple Control Talk cord for Beats. Save your money, time, and frustration and fork out the extra one dollar on Amazon to buy the certified BEATS cord, not the certified BEAT cord.

seems to work fine, the straight plug is a bit wide for the hole but it works, just tough to unplug. Buttons work on studio with iphone 6

Very strong under extreme strength and bending does not keep it in the same position both Jack’s allow my case to be plugged in and all buttons work and are tactile
