Hailo 8040-307 XXL safety ladder, 3 steps, multifunction tray, 130 mm deep steps, made in Germany

Really like these ladders, I can get up to the hedge that's about eight feet high. I bought the feet as well so they are solid on the ground and I'm not moving around while trying to cut the hedge. If you are struggling with a small set of ladders I would strongly recommend, it'll make the work a lot easier.

I am very pleased with this particular ladder. I wanted something that was free-standing and tall enough to allow me to comfortably and safely reach my gutters (on a bungalow).I am getting on a bit in years and overweight - so the extra deep tread of the steps also attracted me, and the 150kg rating of the top platform I am 110kg).The ladder feels to be of a good quality - it is surprisingly light but is clearly very sturdy. It is easy to lift, erect and to move along as I work. I climb up and down there is no obvious flexing or wobbling. The deep tread means that it is very comfortable to work on for some time, and I feel very well supported.I have discovered that some Hailo models come with an extending top-rail for an added feeling of safety when working from the top platform. It is not supplied as a standard with this model, but I was able to order one, it fits this model without problem.This is my first Hailo purchase, and I am very impressed.I also bought the "feet" available for use on soft ground: ( Hailo 9948-001 Easy Clix Interchangeable Feet Garden Set 2 )

I bought the 8 step XXL version of this ladder so that I could reach the 3.5m high ceilings in my house. It's perfect for this purpose and I can stand on the ladder's top platform with complete confidence in its stability. The tray at the top of the ladder is also very useful for placing items so that you can keep your hands free at all times.The ladder is extremely light but this does not appear to affect robustness or safety in any way.Note that if you are intending to use this ladder outside then you should definitely get the additional Hailo fittings that widen the ladder's feet. The standard feet have a small surface area and would quickly sink into soft ground when weight is applied.

I Bought this step ladder after carefull consideration to paint a quite high wall in my conservatory. Once it arrived I could tell instantly the product had been superbly manufactured as is the case most German engineering products. It was extremely stable when opened. I felt very safe even whilst painting at 3 ntrs high. This was important to me as the last thing i need mid 50's is a fall from height.Pro's.Great engineering..Wide base base for excellent stability.Deep steps for safety and foot comfort.Lightweight yet reassuringly sturdy.10 year warranty.Having employed the stepladder for several different usages including painting and various DIY projects I cannot find a single thing to complain about, all told it is a product I am so pleased I purchased. It might seem expensive but you really do get what you pay for and I would not hesitate in recommending it too anyone looking for a quality stepladder with a guarantee to back the companies confidence in it. I value other users feedback's in all my purchases from Amazon and leave my reviews accordingly.

Not used the item yet, however must say that the ladder appears to be of very good quality (German made)I am pleased that the steps are wide and will be comfortable when in use rather than my old ladder which after a while it felt like I was standing on a knife edge. Only downside is that the ladder is too tall to stand up in me garage and has to be laid on its side on the floor.

Was finding it difficult to get into loft with old stepladder, this one has higher top platform and extra step so much easier. Safety rail and tool tray at top is useful, total height means loft hatch has to be open before opening stepladder as it is too tall when closed to stand upright, so check height of ceiling and storage options if you think this could be a problem. I only have a small loft hatch with a loose cover so can get over this. Position and size of hatch stops me having fixed retractable ladder system without major expense so happy with this solution. Ladder is well made, a little heavy for me but I don’t have to carry it far. Weight and the wide treads on steps make it feel sturdy in use.Prompt delivery from seller and immediate response to missing hooks in accessory pack which were delivered the next day. Very satisfied with purchase.

I am very happy with this ladder. It is tall and enables me to gild over door pediments with ease. The ladder is very steady and I am never afraid when I am on it. I place the gold leaf and size which I use to gold on the top shelf of the ladder. This is particularly helpful as it avoids any loss of time. The ladder is lightweight which is a relief as I am not very stron, and it stores very easily behind a door in my narrow store room, which is a blessing.I am delighted to have bought this ladder, and discovered this excellent brand.Thank you very much Amazon.

Imballo ben curato. Scala arrivata sigillata integralmente nella plastica. Ottimo strumento leggero e robusto allo stesso tempo per piccoli/medi lavori di fai-da-te domestici. Stabile, scalini adeguatamente larghi, buona percezione di sicurezza su di essa. Funzionale il contenitore porta utensili in cima. Prezzo un pochino alto sulla tipologia di oggetto ( si trovano articoli simili decisamente a meno volendo) però, sinceramente, qualità tutto sommato in linea con la spesa effettuata. Negoziante serio puntuale e affidabile. E' stato un piacere rivolgermi a Lui/Loro.

Das Hailo gute Leiter herstellt wussten wir bereits denn, unsere alte (30 Jahre alt) hatten wir leider bei unser Sohn nach dessen Umzug liegen lassen und da es nicht in unser PKW passt, wurde der Erwerb einer neuen erforderlich.Lieferzeit: Hervorragend, nur 2 Tage. Was in diesen Fall sogar 2 Tage früher war als angekündigtVerpackung: Sehr gut. Es wurde nicht viel Luft transportiert und das Produkt wurde sicher verpackt.Einsatzgebiet bei uns: Alles wozu man eine gute Leiter benötigt sowohl drinnen als auch draußen. Es ist dabei nicht aus zu schließen das wir es hier und da wohl auch etwas überstrapazieren werden doch unsere alte Hailo hat das nie etwas ausgemacht.Besonders gefällt:Die breiten Stufen. Die Kennzeichnung an der Seite der Leiter ist stets verfügbar und kann weiter helfen wenn man unsicher ist. Auch wird erklärt worauf man achten soll wenn man die Leiter überprüfen möchte.Die 10 Jahre Garantie darf natürlich auch nicht unerwähnt bleiben.Die Angaben bezüglich der Verwendung in der Anleitung. Hier merkt man das man es mit ein wirklich gutes Produkt zu tun hat denn, Hailo macht offenbar keine Unterscheidung bezüglich der Verwendung im Privaten- oder Gewerblichen Bereich. Lediglich die Hinweise unterscheiden sich.Fazit: Es ist etwas teurer als eine "Normale" Leiter doch es ist jeden Cent wert. Wir würden jeden der eine neue Leiter benötigt dieses Produkt sehr ans Herz legen wollen.

Il prodotto è robusto, molto stabile grazie ai gradini larghi ed antiscivolo e permette di raggiungere con facilità il soffitto standard (2,7 metri) di una abitazione. La sagomatura alta della scala consente, inoltre, di appoggiarsi con il busto ed avere entrambe le braccia libere, e tutto in sicurezza. Il ripiano portaoggetti è comodo per poggiare alcuni attrezzi da lavoro. E' un prodotto che consiglio.

Prodotto di qualità buona anche se non sufficente a giustificarne il prezzo d'acquisto (+/- 100E), esistono prodotti analoghi che offrono la stessa qualità a prezzi decisamente inferiori (anche del 50%).Molto importante l'altezza complessiva della scala da chiusa (6 gradini) che ne rende difficoltoso lo spostamento da una stanza all'altra.Il gradino ampio offre maggior stabilità ma anche un maggior ingombro (ca. 3cm da chiusa, cosa che per molti può essere un dettaglio trascurabile).Trovo utile la possibilità di cambiare i piedini d'appoggio a seconda della tipologia del suolo, sebbene li si debbano acquistare separatamente (opzionali) a prezzi non proprio economici.Ottimo il servizio di consegna, puntuale.
