Must Read Bestseller
The media could not be loaded. Recently got a chance to read one of the bestseller book Animal Farm by George Orwell and I really enjoyed it. The story is about a group of farm animals who get tired of their farmer, kick him out and try to run the farm on their own. At first, they believe all animals should be treated equally, but over time, some animals start taking control and things get worse. Even though it’s a simple story about animals, it actually talks about real-life issues like politics and how leaders can become corrupt. Highly recommended due to it's simplicity and meaningful approach.

Nice read
George Orwell’s "Animal Farm" is a brilliant allegorical novella that uses the framework of a farm uprising to satirize the Russian Revolution and the subsequent Stalinist era. The animals of Manor Farm, tired of their oppressive human owner, Mr. Jones, revolt and establish a new order based on the principles of Animalism, summarized in the Seven Commandments. Initially, the farm prospers under their own management, with ideals of equality and shared labor. However, the pigs, led by the cunning Napoleon, gradually seize power, manipulating the other animals through propaganda, fear, and violence. The Seven Commandments are subtly altered to justify the pigs' increasingly privileged position, culminating in the infamous maxim: "All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others." The farm's initial utopian vision deteriorates into a totalitarian regime, mirroring the corruption and betrayal of the Soviet system.Orwell's writing is sharp and concise, effectively conveying the gradual erosion of ideals and the insidious nature of power. The animal characters are memorable and representative of different social classes and personality types. Through this deceptively simple story, Orwell delivers a powerful and enduring critique of totalitarianism, highlighting the dangers of unchecked power, the manipulation of language, and the suppression of individual thought. "Animal Farm" remains a relevant and cautionary tale about the importance of vigilance and the preservation of individual liberties.
