Elegant Tarot Deck with Stunning Artwork & Gold Foil ✨
These Ethereal Visions Illuminated Tarot Deck cards are absolutely beautiful. The Art Nouveau-inspired artwork is elegant, the gold foil accents add a luxurious touch, and every card feels like a miniature work of art. The cards are high quality, easy to shuffle, and the included guidebook is well written and helpful for both beginners and experienced readers. I also love that this is an 80-card deck with the additional Major Arcana cards. If you’re looking for a unique, high-quality tarot deck with timeless artwork material, great readability, I highly recommend this one!

It makes my heart sing!
I have many tarot decks and have always eyed this one. I finally got it and now I wonder why I waited so long. I feel my energy really resonates with this deck. The soft, otherworldly beauty and purity of the art and cards is healing. I can’t stop looking at the cards and admiring them. I prefer a matte cardstock and this deck is perfect. I slept with it under my pillow so I could connect with the deck. My first reading was incredible - clean and clear. My new favorite in my collection! I already bought the Luna version!

Now the best and most beautiful deck I own, filled with wonderful energy and elegance
This is easily the best, most beautiful and unique Tarot deck I own, and yet it isn't even the most expensive! Frankly I can't believe I got a deck like this for under $20 and that's including shipping. While I understand what another reviewer says about finding the gold stamping to be a bit "garish", I don't really agree, I think it's lovely. That being said though, I would happily spend twice as much on an edition that is illuminated with silver stamping instead of gold. I think the art style and color palette of this deck would just naturally look a lot better with soft, feminine silver. Maybe something for the artist to think about! The card stock is wonderful and the illumination makes this feel like the most special and indeed ethereal deck. It feels opulent without being gaudy. One reviewer didn't care for it but I personally love that the numbers of the Majors are all in different places and sizes. It makes each card feel more unique and whole unto itself, thereby giving the whole deck - especially the Majors - even more distinction. I haven't seen another deck that does that, that I know of, so I appreciate the originality. With almost every single Tarot deck I own (and even a couple of my oracle decks), there are at least one or two cards that have depictions I just don't feel like really work with the meaning or simply aren't well done artistically...not so with this deck! I found every single interpretation and representation to be pretty great. However, some people might take issue with the fact that the hand in the Ace of Swords is holding it by the blade (something I don't think I've ever seen before) and I can understand why, but I choose to see it as an illustration of mastery...anyone can at least hold a sword by the handle, but only the Ace, who represents the pure essence of the suit and its element, would be able to grasp it by the blade and not be hurt by it. I feel that this is what Matt Hughes meant to convey with this unique choice. Reversed, I would take this particular Ace of Swords to perhaps mean that one is abusing the energy of the suit or is in no position to attempt to wield a sword or they will only hurt someone, likely themselves. Seeing this card in reverse could also be humbling for a blustery air sign who is all talk and thinks they handle their "sword" better than they actually do. I know I've encountered people like that many times. And this deck truly works, and definitely resonates with me personally. It is very "me", as I am a huge fan of art nouveau and the overall look and color scheme are favorites. I highly recommend taking time to charge and attune this deck to your personal energy, and one of my favorite things to do in that regard is to hold the deck to my heart and let my heartbeat vibrate through all the cards. One particular card came up three different times in the few readings I did upon first receiving this and charging it, including the "card of the day" pull, and the different questions the same card answered ended up tying together pretty interestingly. So it works! I has energy and magic for sure and you can only enhance it with a simple charging/attuning/dedication ritual. My only "problem" is that this is so very beautiful and special that I'm afraid to use it too much for risk of damaging it, particularly the illumination. Just need to be careful! I have been watching and waiting for this deck since it was on Kickstarter and I am so thrilled to finally have it. Any Tarot reader and especially collector needs this deck, particularly if you are a fan of art nouveau. Cannot wait for Matt's Dreamscape oracle now!

Dreamy, Gentle, and THICK in all the right ways
This deck is pure magic. Ethereal Visions Illuminated Tarot feels like it floated straight out of a soft Art Nouveau daydream and landed in my hands fully ready to be loved. The artwork is absolutely gorgeous—elegant, romantic, and luminous without being over-the-top. Every card feels like it’s whispering encouragement rather than yelling cosmic life lessons at you. Even the “scary” cards are like, “It’s okay, growth happens.” Now let’s talk about the card stock because WOW. These cards are thick. Luxuriously thick. The kind of thickness that makes shuffling feel important and intentional, like you’re handling something special. No flimsy sadness here—these cards could survive years of readings and still look stunning. It’s a perfect deck for daily pulls, intuitive readings, or just staring at lovingly while pretending you’re about to do a reading. Beginner-friendly but still deep, gentle but not boring. Five stars. Would absolutely buy again. My other decks are jealous.

Stunning deck, can't wait to dig in
I'm new to Tarot and was looking for a deck that "spoke" to me. This one jumped out at me right away. Love the soft color palette and gold accents. The cards are well made, thick and the art isn't AI stock printed. I can't wait to really dig in and play and learn with this beautiful deck

A Lovely and Usable Deck
Despite an embarsssing mishandling in regards to the Kickstarter that birthed this decj, it's a genuinely wonderful deck. Of all the art nouveau Tarots (Lo Scarabeo's rather bizarre Art Noveau Tarot and much better Tarot Mucha and Matt Myers' overtly 80's Art Noveau Tarot/Soap Opera) this captures the look and mood of the Art Noveau style best while managing to be its own entity, albeit with a couple of notable sore thumb exceptions. The cardstock is quite good and the gold foil accents make it look and feel like a deck that would cost more than around $20. The LWB is mediocre and explains little of the artists personal vision, but it's servicable. However this deck screams for a companion book. The real reason you'll buy this tarot is for the art and it nearly does not disappoint. It's an RWS inspired deck that borrows the key symbolism, but is not a clone. Some standout.cards include a sly looking Magician, a Chariot that actually has a sense of some motion, a very lovely Strength, a gorgeous Temperence with big golden wings, a dynamic tower, and a simple yet gorgeous Moon. The Knights and Queens are just fine but the female Pages are very inspired. The Kings actually have some personality and are not the stoic, stern and dull patriarchs so many other decks resign them to. The Minors don't quite match the brilliance of the majors or courts but are still really nice, despite a somewhat perplexing 10 of Pentacles. However the Ace of Swords is laughably bad and for a deck that has gone out of its way to include not one but two masturbatory bonus Major Arcana about the creative process (The Well and The Artist) one would expect more than near identical copies of Patricia Colenan Smiths 3 of Swords, and worse, the tell tale sign of any lazy shortcut in a deck, an 8 of Wands that is 8 sticks in the air. Yawn. However this isn't the first and won't be the last deck to rely on being lazy wirh these two cards and the rest of the deck is giving off that these offenses can almost be overlooked. The deck reads really well with a variety of spreads and questions varying in tone and manages to be the rare tarot that is both an Art Deck and a servicable working deck. Though I am of the belief every reader should start with some version of the original RWS deck, this would make a suitable option for a newcomer. Overall, a very lovely and usable deck.
