I am a certified Oral Hygiene Olympian. I take pride in my oral hygiene routine. My parents didn't teach me much about dental hygiene, but they did make sure I brushed my tongue. So I always brushed my tongue after my teeth my whole life.As an adult, for reference, my dentist always compliments my oral hygiene, and so much so, that they included 'excellent oral hygiene' in my medical records.I heard that soft plaque (what we can brush and floss out ourselves) turns to hard plaque (what your dentist has to get out) in approx. 48 hours, though it depends on what you ate. With that in mind, I developed a simple routine for maximum plaque removal that I do once every 24 hours, which keeps plaque at bay: brush, floss, brush, mouthwash, where all brushes include brushing my tongue.So where does this excellent tonque scraper come in?Well, at night, after a large meal and tons of water, it is difficult to safely brush my tongue when I'm sleepy and my gag restraint muscles aren't as active. It makes me concerned about accidentally making food/water come up.With this stainless steel tongue scraper, I can reach the back of my tongue without a gag response. I mean aaaall the way in the back where the larger tongue bumps are. This thing is super neat!It comes in a 2-pack, with travel cases, well-sealed and cleaned. I still cleaned it before use. So I did my NEW, tongue-scraper-included routine as detailed (my same ol' routine with this cool tongue scraper added):1) Hydrogen peroxide and water mouth wash for 30-60 seconds2) Brush teeth for 2 minutes with flouride toothpaste; brush tongue for 30 seconds.3) Rinse with plain water4) Use tongue scraper for a few seconds, getting all of the tongue5) Rinse with plain water6) Floss with traditional string floss7) Water and hygrogen peroxide rinse for 30 seconds8) Brush teeth for 1 min; brush tongue for 30 seconds9) Use tongue scraper10) Rinse with plain water11) Rinse with flouride mouthwash for 1 minuteIn the pics, you can see my tongue before the flouride mouthwash in step 11. My tongue is super clean, breath fresh, teeth sparkling. I imagine this thing probably will enhance my overall health and make food taste better since my mouth is so clean. I LOVE this!It is stainless steel and easy to wash and store in a standard toothbrush holder after use. It is flat-headed so it can reach very far back on the tongue. As a lifelong tongue-brusher, this does not make me gag at all! It really enhances tongue cleaning in a way the brush cannot quite do. I think it pairs well with brushing my tongue the traditional way and then using this right afterwards. I will still brush my tongue, but now I'll use this afterwards for the ultimate hygiene boost. I'm curious to see if my dentist notices a difference when I go back.10/10 I recommend this product!

I’ve been using this 2-pack of tongue scrapers for a few weeks now, and they really do make a difference. The stainless steel feels sturdy and much more effective than the plastic ones I’ve tried in the past. They clean well with just a quick rinse, and I appreciate that the pack comes with two, so I can keep one at home and one in my travel bag. After using it, my mouth feels fresher and cleaner, and it definitely helps cut down on bad breath.The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the handles are a little on the thin side, so they can feel slightly uncomfortable if you press too hard. It’s not a dealbreaker by any means, just something to keep in mind. Overall, these scrapers are simple, effective, and affordable—definitely a great buy if you’re looking to add something small but impactful to your oral hygiene routine.

Excellent smooth, clean tongue scraper

I am incredibly impressed with this tongue scraper! It has a sleek, ergonomic design with a wide, curved scraping head that perfectly contours to the shape of the tongue, making it comfortable and efficient to use.Using it after brushing my teeth has made a spectacular difference. It is amazing to see how thoroughly it removes all the built-up gunk and bacteria that a normal toothbrush just leaves behind. My mouth has never felt this clean, and my breath stays fresh for so much longer. 100% recommended!

I didn't realize tongue hygiene was a thing, but after 36 years of blissfully ignorant tongue neglect, I developed bad breath. There was a constant bad taste in my mouth despite brushing, flossing, and using mouthwash twice a day. My dentist said I should brush my tongue, and once I started really looking, I noticed my tongue is sort of whitish and furry looking - the classic "coated tongue" that hours of image searches have revealed is my problem. But I gag uncontrollably and instantly whenever a toothbrush touches my tongue. So I ordered this tongue scraper. It's great! It's the perfect shape to gently clean the surface of the tongue, easy to hold, easy to clean, reusable forever, and it even looks nice in my toothbrush holder. I do gag a little bit, but using a mirror and good control of the device allows me to decide how far back to go. The first time I used this tongue scraper, I was amazed (horrified) at the gunk that had been lurking on my tongue. And my bad breath was better. The second time I used it, my bad breath was gone! No more bad taste in my mouth, no more chewing gum all day, no more self consciously keeping my distance from people I meet lest they smell my dirty secret. Instant results! My tongue still looks a bit white and furry, but I'm hopeful that this will improve in time. Kudos to the company for selling a great product that you only ever have to buy once, rather than a cheap "disposable" product that you have to keep buying and throwing away for no reason. I can't speak to the manufacturing process, but the project itself is an eco friendly idea, and the packaging is almost eco-friendly (compact, easily recyclable/compostable box, but with an unnecessary plastic film liner inside - if the liner was made of paper I'd be thrilled). It's only been a few days, but this has already become an oral hygiene staple for me.

I really liked how well this tongue scraper worked—it did a great job and was easy to use. Unfortunately, despite cleaning it, drying it after every use, and taking good care of it, it developed rust after only six months. The performance was great while it lasted, but I expected much better durability for a stainless steel product.

It's good and durable

This is excellent tongue cleaner. I always like to finish my brushing with scraping my tongue. This is amazing because it is stainless steel and it doesn't look like cheap quality. it comes with case too, in case we are travelling.
