Daddy Sam's Original BBQ Sauce and Ginger Jalapeno BBQ Sauce Gluten Free (2 Jars)

Love the sauce!!! Best Ever.I did find some else where but they only had four bottles and I got them all.I am hoping against hope that This superior sauce will return....

I stumbled onto a few Jars of Daddy Sam's BBQ sauce in Stephenville, TX about 10 years ago. They were at a salvage grocery/home goods store. A jar in the case was broken in shipping is how they wound up with the remainder. I bought 2 jars out of curiosity used some that night on some chicken on the grill. OMG I couldn't believe how good it was. I went back the next day 50+ mile round trip. Sadly the other jars had been snapped up. I have been buying it directly from Daddy Sam's or here on Amazon. I have also bought the gift packs for Christmas presents before that included the salmon glaze. The feedback from the friends I gifted was really good. Daddy Sam's BBQ Sauce is very thick so I usually dilute it a little with water for slopping it on Chicken and Ribs on the grill. Season and Cook the meat 1st then baste the sauce on when it is close to being ready to take off. Basically just setting the Sauce on the meat.. I realize it seems this is mildly expensive but it isn't because of the quality of the product. Also it is a 19oz Jar compared to most other that are 16oz or less. A little goes a long way. I personally don't think anyone would regret buying the sauce.. If you don't like a little extra kick try the regular.

1. Packaging-A plus!!! You get a Amazon box, then the box is with bubble wrap on the outside. Open the box and wrapped in more bubble wrap! Has a sticker basically saying u get what u pay for!2. The sauce it self is definitely a heavy vinegar base sauce (which I love) if you try by itself. When i cooked it with my country ribs the heavy vinegar flavor cooks off and leaves a fantastic overall flavor.3. I also put 3 table spoons (along with other ingredients -maple syrup, lemon, ) into my baked beans. Was very sweet. I liked, but should do less with the syrup and sauce.So, for my 4th of July celebration of oven cooked Country Style Ribs, with corn on the cob, baked beans (w/added sauce), and corn bread.Overall, fantastic bar b que sauce and I will buy again.

Hands down the best bbq sauce I’ve ever tried. We just couldn’t find it in California but in Ohio this stuff is very popular. Also when cooking with this it cooks down and becomes even better tasting. It’s sweet with smoky and a little heat. The delivery was fast and all bottles came nicely. But we are having a terrible problem with the reorders from Amazon warehouse. They are putting the glass jars into a box with no padding and of course they are coming broken. This is the 2nd reorder that we have to go through the hassle of getting a refund because they don’t know how to pad a glass item. What’s wrong with their workers? Too rushed? Not trained? What’s wrong with Amazon??? It’s such a shame to waste this wonderful bbq sauce.

I first bought this product for it's name: I had a Daddy Sam. When I tasted it I knew it was a winner. The flavor is deep and rich. The color is beautiful. It has a definite kick but not so hot that my eyes close. I put on beef, chicken, and pork before, during, and after cooking. I put a light coating on strong fish like salmon and bluefish before broiling. I wouldn't recommend it for shrimp - it would overwhelm their flavor. (Besides, everybody knows shrimp need Old Bay). It's also good as a coating for a block of cream cheese for spreading on crackers. This a repeat order for me. Several of my guests have ordered jars for themselves.

Great sauces but they seem to be closed. I emailed and called and received no reply. Hopefully they'll reopen.

Let me say I love this product. Have for years. Even used it for our wedding when we cooked up some bbq for a hundred folk who blessed their presence for our big day. I felt terrible when I gave our most recent order a fair rating- not because the product had changed but because the packaging failed. I was afraid that my favorite BBQ was going through growing pains and having some one else ship their product. Within a week of my unfortunate review I received a hand written note and a whole new order of BBQ sauce. I am extremely thankful Daddy Sam's is still the same high quality and thoughtful company as the one I first encountered when I discovered them on the shelves of my locally owned grocer.Thanks Again - your sauce is an absolute favorite in our home and we tell everyone we can about you!Keep up the good work!-Sage in Northern New Mexico

We had a BBQ emergency (Read: we were out of sauce for ribs with NO desire to run to the grocery store), so I took to Amazon to find something we could have delivered next day with Prime. I came across this sauce and the description and reviews looked decent - Jalapenos? I like those...Ginger? Hmmm, tasty stuff. Took a chance and ordered it. When I say it was fate, I'm not kidding. This stuff is DELICIOUS! It's got the right amount of sweet and heat to turn smoked ribs, pulled pork, wings, a piece of toast...whatever, into your favorite BBQ treat. It's our new favorite - I just ordered two more jars and will forever keep at least one spare in the pantry. It's that good.
