Can i use this if he just had piplet one fur?

Yes, it states that it’s safe to use in conjunction with other flea treatments. This should clear any that your dog has then use a spot on to prevent them getting any more

They are a small sized tablet so they are easy to hide amongst food

I have purchased these tablets several times now and they work a treat! They are a small sized tablet so they are easy to hide amongst food. It doesn't take long for the tablet to take effect, and after 24 hours, fleas seem to be removed from my dog. The tablets seem to only get fleas off of your animals and do not protect them from returning fleas. For this, I ensure I use it at the same time as Indorex flea spray to ensure that the fleas are being eliminated and don't return.
