Got this for my hubby. He loves this. He was tempted to take my laptop down to the hunting spot so he could look at the SD card while he was there. First time he did that, he broke the input wire on the card reader that gets plugged into the laptop. After that I said No more taking the laptop because it's got mud on it and next time the laptop will get broken and I don't need that. So this was the perfect solution. He's carrying his phone down there. This is small, easy to carry and you just plug in the SD card and plug this into your phone and you can see pictures. Easy. Works perfectly. Great idea and great price.

The device worked great when I took the case off my Android phone. It came up with the files right away and didn't have to download an app to get it to work. The only problem was I ordered it on June 7th and it didn't arrive until July 1st.

I had ordered this for my wife, actually... We were planning a trip to Yellowstone, and I had told her that she should take her DSLR camera. It takes fantastic pictures, but has them all on the SD card, making them hard to copy and share. I had gotten this so that she didn't have to take her laptop on the trip, and she could use her phone or iPad to review and copy the pictures out. She could even copy the pictures off the SD card and drop them into shared albums that we have setup, so this is her new favorite tool for her camera. I hope that this helps.

The card reader came quickly, in sturdy packaging. It is good quality, but I was disappointed it is not compatible with a iPhone OtterBox. The OtterBox had to be removed to use it effectively. For that reason, I rated it three stars.

I've got a few game/trail cams on my property, and I sometimes connect to them via wifi to see what's come down the path. However, wifi is a real drain on the batteries. This tool has already made my life easier. In the past, if I wanted to actually download a particular video, I'd have to lug my small laptop to each camera to transfer the files en mass. Now, all I need is this tool and my phone. The ONLY thing to watch out for is the length of the phone connectors. Depending on your phone case, when plugging in a full size SD card, your case can get in the way of fully seating the tool into your phone.

Gave this a big test checking over 16,000 pics on an SDHC card from a game camera that was set up to watch a road. Have to say it probably worked better than the original SD card reader I got from Apple to use with my iPad. Bringing the pics up to preview was much faster and glitch-free. Only selected a hundred or so to download and the transfer of those was similarly flawless. I only got to try the Lightning and USB-C connections, and both worked equally well. The covers over each connector are nice to keep each protected, though it helps to remove the covers for both the Lightning and USB-C to ensure a snug fit when using the Lightning connector on the iPad. Minus one star as it doesn't work with my phone unless I take it out of its protective case, something I don't need to do with my other SD card reader.

Works on iphones just fine. plug and play. I like it we use it for the SD cards in our trail cams so we can zoom in with the phone.

Works great with multiple devices. I use it on my iPhone and iPad with no problems whatsoever. It is a great reader and easy to carry in the mountains when you are checking the content on your trail cameras. Worth every penny!! Highly recommend.
