Incompatibility issues, or faulty.
I recently put together a new system and was looking for my first ever M.2 nvme drive. I almost purchased the Samsung 970 Evo, but reviews on this ADATA price were great so it seemed like fantastic value for money.I added it to my build and initial impressions were very positive. Windows installed without issue and the drive is very fast. However I quickly ran into problems.I paired this drive with an Asus ROG Strix B450-F gaming motherboard. Sometimes when switching the system on, it would just fail to see this M.2 drive was connected, with the only solution being to remove it from the system entirely and plug it back in again. Then on the next cold start it would lose sight again. I tried the following fixes with no success:Updated the BIOS to the latest versionTried the m.2 drive in both slotsRemoved all SATA drivesTried SATA drives in all 6 portsDisabled CSM and re-installed WindowsIn the end I was left with no alternative but to RMA the drive back to Amazon for a refund. I then opted for the Samsung 970 Evo I almost purchased in the first place, which seems to work perfectly. So whilst this drive is probably fine, and when it worked was very quick, on a personal use basis I can’t really recommend it. It could have been an individual broken drive, or some sort of compatibility issue with that model of Asus board, but it’s worth being aware before you pull the trigger to make the purchase.

Great speed, great value.
It is very fast for the price. I just have a minor niggle that most software can not read the correct temperature...even the Adata SSD utility! That reads 65263c, man thats hot! HWINFO reads the other way -273c, man thats cold!CrystalDiskInfo does report the correct temperature though so this is maybe not an issue.

Very good product
Very fast SSD at cheaper price then the competition. Very good for demanding storage like video and photo editing, less useful for games and daily tasks

WOW !
This thing is quick, 4 seconds from boot to Windows 10 login screen. There may faster Samsung models but you cannot argue with the price per performanc ethis gives you.

Super speedy and Debian-compatible
Installed Debian 9 on this with no problem. Once past the UEFI screen, the OS boots in roughly six seconds.
