I heard about this spice when I ran out of my favorite steak seasoning blend. I wanted to recreate it by combining the spices on the ingredient list. I had everything but this one so I ordered it. It is a nice peppery flavor. I will grind it up and add it to my blend.

Very pleased with this. I wanted to try different pepper and I will be using this on a regular basis. Great flavor/warmth.

Good value on these little peppery nuggets. If you know what grains of paradise are, you will be happy with the size and value you get for the money. The package is resealable.

Fresh tasting and comes sealed in an airtight pouch, as you would expect. Taste is much more complex than black pepper, which it most closely resembles in flavor. It's used quite a bit in historical recipes, which is what I bought it for and I can see or, rather, taste why.

I've enjoyed using this "different spice" post-stroke- & as my taste buds improve-food really tastes better ! Looks like pepper corns-but a very nice difference !
