Quick Release C Clamp - Aluminum - Thread Screw 4 inch

I bought these to secure the loading ramp on a utility trailer, which rattled like crazy when laid down because the hinging wasn't constructed properly. These solved the problem. They're incredibly easy to use. The aluminum parts hold up well to the weather, but the "screw" shaft rusts. Not a big deal, just unsightly.

I ordered 6 and have used them very little. They are a great concept, but one broke under normal tightening force. There appeared to be a metallurgical "void" in the "C" shaped section where it curves

Snapped in two the first time I'd used it. I guess this might work fine if you don't actually expect it to provide clamping force, but then what use does it have?

Great little clamp to throw in your toolbox without being too heavy. I am using this clamp as a bead breaker for a motorcycle tire, very lightweight to pack along in your saddlebag. Very nice quality item and very well made for the money.

very quick to setup/adjust. good holding power. unique but very well made. would have preferred next size smaller but could not find
