The mindbodygreen postbiotic body lotion goes on smooth and absorbs fairly quickly into the skin. It doesn't leave the skin feeling greasy.I'm not sure about it being the next generation of skincare but it has several ingredients that I like. It's hard to go wrong with Aloe. Two other the other major ingredients would be coco butter and Shea butter. Both have been used for years in skincare products because they work.It's a light bodied lotion with hardly any scent. It does have a very slight scent which is hard to describe. It's not flowery, like medicine or heavy chemical scents. With the addition of the coconut oil, I'm surprised it doesn't smell a bit like coconut. But it doesn't that I can tell.It does seem a little pricey but taking a chance once in a while can sometimes lead to great results.

This is a wonderful lotion. It feels great on my skin. Fairly thick and very moisturizing. It is unscented.I like the fact that it doesn't have perfumes or fragrances which can sometimes be irritating. However I do like my lotions to have a nice smell, and this one can be mixed with a drop of essential oil or a little bit of another scented lotion to add some scent. Overall a great quality lotion.

This body lotion works well and is moisturizing but it smells terrible. It's hard to describe but the closest thing I can come up with is mildew, or clothes that have been packed away for years. This is fragrance free so I guess the ingredients just smell like this and there's nothing to cover it up. I like the way the lotion works but I absolutely can't get past the smell so I won't continue to use it.

Mindbodygreen Postbiotic Body Lotion lacks chemical fragrance and masking ingredients, such as fragrant essential oils. That’s a big plus for me as my skin is dry and sensitive, so it easily irritated by even natural fragrance. Even when my skin seems to tolerate fragrance, it can still be causing inflammation and a range of other issues like endocrine disruption and so on. This lotion seems good for strengthening the skin barrier given the lack of fragrance, coupled with postbiotics and ingredients that seem good (based on checking them with a reputable source).The trade off to the lack of fragrance is the lotion has a light odor from the ingredients that’s kind of pungent and unpleasant, though I mainly notice it while applying the lotion. The odor lingers somewhat, but it does become subtle and stays close to the body. After a short time, I only smell it on my skin if I put my nose close to an area (such as a hand or arm) where I’ve applied it and try to smell it. I doubt anyone would smell it unless very up close and personal, but I’ll use a different lotion before social engagements just in case.This lotion is otherwise pleasing in that it’s lightweight, nongreasy and absorbs quickly. Also, it has a silky texture, spreads nicely and makes my skin feel soft. My dry skin gets good hydration and feels comfortable overnight. This feels soothing to my easily agitated skin, especially applied just after a shower. This is best for me at night as it keeps my skin calm and moisturized, and the odor isn’t an issue while sleeping. I also tend to prefer a richer cream during the day. Don’t like the smell, but recommend anyway for healthy skin. 4 stars.Note: I initially rated this 5 stars as it seems good for my skin, but I’m gravitating to my other moisturizers because of the smell, so I’m taking off a star.

I really love this body lotion, it's thick and super hydrating. I have very sensitive skin and this has been super gentle and nourishing. It takes a minute to work in but it doesn't leave any residue and uncomfortable film like feeling. It doesn't have any fragrance which o highly appreciate.
