I bought this primarily as a little item to use for group-work. It was inexpensive (very!) and looked useful in that the wording on each card was very simple and basic. This is half way between being a tarot deck and an oracle deck. I’ve read tarot for a long time, and I don’t think it works well from that point of view in that it limits the interpretation to a very specific caption. But seen as an oracle deck, I believe it’s useful. There are “majors” and “minors” as for traditional tarot. But no court cards. Instead there are seven cards designating the seven chakras. So it has some of the breadth of tarot, but is far less complex. I’m surprised to find I rather like it, as long as I don’t expect it to be a traditional tarot deck. The artwork is simple and not too “new age-y”. The figures are pleasantly neutral and there are positively no soft-porn goddess women with unbelievable breasts and flowing tresses! The only disappointment was “Universe” (traditionally “The World”) A rather glamorous young woman’s face, reminiscent of Marilyn Monroe, which I found somewhat out of place in an otherwise quite neutral deck. So I docked it a star for one or two irritations. But overall I’m finding it useful…albeit in a slightly limited way!

I've bought this original deck many times and still love it. Once they came out with a pocket size I love it even more. I have small hands and it shuffles really well.

I love this deck. I love the compact size and the tin it comes in. I love that these cards are easy to read with and deliver accurate messages and you can get deep with this deck if you sit with it. Highly recommended.
