Project Runway Fashion Design Sketch Portfolio

I bought this as a present and she loved it! Great for girls aged 7-11. It has many stencils and colour-wheels to use so it helps practically with fashion design.

I purchased this item for my 13-year old granddaughter for Christmas. I examined it thoroughly and am pretty sure, she will like this fashion designing portfolio. #1 The quality is very good, #2 Every girl or just about anybody who likes fashion must like it. Just something rather creative as opposed to spending all free time with "electronics" which everybody is currently obsessed with.

Great gift for a young girl. She loved being able to mix and match patterns and colours to make her designs more creative.

My 9 year old niece just loves this. Lots of hours spent on this one.

This is actually the second one I've ordered for my 8 year old daughter who is obsessed with project runway and likes to "compete" right along with them. The first one was the one geared towards younger children. The main difference between this set and that one is the figures. The figures here are more of a 'barbie' shape and size whereas the other one had more exaggerated features in the sketches. So if you are looking at both of them I can tell you my daughter loves them equally. They both come with a ton of stencils, stickers, and 'fabric' ideas that are perfect for creative children who love to color, draw and design. Both sets have the same general contents (stencils, stickers, etc) so if you are on the fence I would say think of your child. If they have a slightly younger mindset I would go with their Lil Angels portfolio but if they are slightly more mature for their age this one will hit home.

This is awesome! My daughter is at the age where clothes mean something to her and I like that. This product shows different fabric swatches and comes with stencils to help make the perfect outfit. Clothes have an endless individuality to them and I think it helps her find out what her style is. If you buy this don't forget the colored pencils!

My 10 year old is obsessed with this! I bought her toys and a professional one. I think the fact that this one came with stencils made it the favorite. There were a few figures over the female body shapes, but birthing ridiculous. Oh, and she also complains about some of the stencils not footing the bodies, but I used that as a teachable moment (is that not how real life clothing works? Ha!). Fun and good quality.Also, my 8 year old is now begging for her own, so I'd say tours would appeal to a 7+, possibly younger.

I got a bunch of these Fashion Angel sketch books for my 7 year old daughter and her friends. I was tired of play dates that ended up being the girls huddled around a Kindle or iPad playing games or plopped on the couch watching TV, so I was looking for an alternative that would engage their creativity and encourage some self expression and conversation... They absolutely LOVE them!!! They spend hours designing and sketching new outfits and accessories.The templates and stickers make it really easy for them to create something original and beautiful. The books are well made and the templates can be used alone without the books if they use up all of the pages on the book. I also bought them gel pens and colored pencils and they work great with the templates and pages in the books. We have given them to many of her friends for birthday presents and everyone loves them!

My girls absolutely love these - be careful, because if you decide to buy more than one set there are some that have different covers, but have exactly the same templates inside. Fortunately for me, I have several girls so I just gave it to one of the other girls. The kids really love this - and I HOPE - more than coloring books because here you actually use your imagination to build outfits - decide colors - decide if you want to show texture - decide if you want to embellish. It is a great tool to keep them busy (we even take it with us to doctor appointments). Highly recommend!
